They no longer sell brachs peppermint stir sticks. They have coastal bay which has a plastic taste. Very yucky

Hello dollar tree shoppers ,the D tree in middle village queens is not bad at all as it's well stocked along the aisles on the shelves , not too messy , no rodents running around which is always a good thing and stuff is easy to find . Got some basic stuff like plastic drinking cups , Tupperware, plastic utensils and cleaning supplies for kitchen and bathroom. It really should now be called the dollar and fifty cents tree as each item is 6 quarters as well as items over the 1.50 threshold but if it ain't broke , just leave it alone .The cashier was a nice gal and wrapped each religious candles in newspaper to avoid any breakage. Giving this queens Dollar tree 4 stars and if I am in the area again with time to spare I am dropping anchor for sure . read more

Has excellent makeup finds!!!! I film and upload makeup videos on YouTube and was able to get makeup for my next video. Please bring back the makeup brushes. Customer service is not the best. read more

This store has a lot to offer. Everything seems up to date, it seems organized and you can find whatever you need

Price driven starcrating shopping, with some excellent customer service sprinkled on top. You can ask about incoming stock and you'll get an answer on the spot. But you know why your there, I know why I'm there, we all know why we are there. To find some bargain filler and fluff items, unless your "just looking" but you'll leave with something anyway. The right wall is always dripping with holiday knick knacks and paddy whacks, flowers and bunny cardboard cut out shapes and baskets, some palm too. After that run, I loose intetest and assume my role of Boxer in Animal Farm just pulling and hauling and not complaining. Food items minus chips and seasoning continue to freak me out so I continue to play in the cards and stationary aisle, it's thankfully close to the wall of flowers and bunny ornaments with the empty plastic eggs that parents stuff stuff inside and hide -- until my name is called, at which point it's rush to the register to discover the fifty three bags of unnecessary chachki and chachka I now must haul three city blocks. read more

I just love this store. Of course its hit and miss like all discount stores and they get you at every turn lol. One big suggestion if you see something you always use that won't get bad buy in volume because it will not be there next time. I have brought 10 cornstarch baby powders at one time. This was because once I only got 2 and went back couple days later to get more and gone lol. It's kinda just a fun store too in an odd way. Guess its because your never. Know what your find. Best to bring your own bags as they only have brown paper bags. Oh heads up everything is a $1.25 great to know but it adds up fast. LOL read more

After careful consideration, I have to up my review of this here Dollar Tree to 4 stars. Yes, the customer service is sketchy and basically crap. I can overlook that with some of the amazing finds I've been getting here lately. Since it first opened, there's been much improvement. Aisle are arranged better. The layout is more reasonable. Much more name brand items. Dingo dog treats, which are normally very pricey, for a buck. Glad Febreeze garbage bags (5 count) for a buck. Bounty paper towels for a dollar. You get it. They even have cans of Libby's vegetables for only 75 cents. Their greeting card section is pretty good and you get two cards for a dollar. They have bags of TGIF themed chips. Hanover pretzels. Large spray bottles of Spic and Span. I just found a two pack of single serve cups if Special K granola with cranberries. It's a hit or miss with the selection. Sometimes you'll find a great little things. Other times, you'll go in to semi-full shelves. They don't carry gallons of water anymore so I don't know what happened there. You can easily over shop here so come and bring your car and/or a shopping cart. read more

It's the dollar tree. Awesome for those things that usually cost a fortune in other stores just for you to throw them away:gift bags, paper products, etc I mostly go for the frozen foods. I pick up beef patties, burritos, pot pies and other small microwavable items for my brother and husband to munch on. I think this is the best dollar tree I've been in in NY. It's big and has a lot of variety of stuff. Located on a busy street. Most dollar stores are disheveled and kind of dirty and I find that this one isn't. As usual there could always be more workers at the registers but all in all it's a good store. Got a lot of cute stocking stuffers from here. read more

Dollar Tree - Discount Store Near Me - Middle Village, New York

The store on Metropolitan Ave in Queens, is the worst dollar tree there is. First the people that work there are not very nice and that goes straight up to store Management. They are rude and really don't care about anything you have to say and they don't even cover up the fact that they don't care. Second there are always isles blocked off with boxes of items that have been delivered, if you need anything from that isle your just out of luck. Third the store always looks sloppy and disorganized, it was so much better when it was Deals. Finally they are all lazy and don't want to do their jobs, I ordered some items and had them delivered to the store. Finally 5 weeks later I received several emails letting me know the items arrived at the store. When I went to the store, the girl took my information and went to the back to get everything, she came back and told me the order had not been delivered yet. The "store manager" came out and gave me the same BS about the items not being delivered. I insisted some look again since I received several emails stating that the items arrived. She out right refused but then slipped up and said the items will be unpacked and ready by Wednesday. When I called her on her slip up she just refused to discuss it any further. I left the store and called the corporate office. The items I ordered were there and should of been ready for pick up. They just never unpacked the boxes and instead of just telling me the truth and apologizing for the delay they lied. I received a phone call that my items were ready for pick up 2 days. read more

Over the weekend myself and others were waiting on line to be serviced. The employee at the register and an employee from the back room were fighting with one another threatening each other and cursing in front of customers and children. There were boxes and garbage in every aisle. I will never ever again shop or go near that place. I was scared and disgusted at the language used. read more

This Dollar Tree has all your basics. It's easy to see that anyone can come in for one thing, and leave with a $35 receipt. (Guilty) Other than the basic wrapping paper and unnamed bathroom tissue for all your bathroom wiping needs, there is also fun and interesting things, such as; glitter glue, bacon, an ice cream fridge with CREAMSICLES!, and your everyday at home marijuana test. Yea, a whole smorgasbord of things for everyone. The staff is sparse but pleasant, and literally everything is nearly $1 or slightly over. I am actually impressed by this because many 99 cents stores carry $8 leggings and $20 purses. Slightly defeating the purpose, but oh well. Come in, stop by they are actually quite festive during the holidays. read more

My first time in any Dollar Tree store. I've driven by many times going to BJ's on Metropolitan Ave but never thought about going to Dollar Tree until my uncle told us about it. We went around Valentine's Day and they had a wide range of Valentines Day stuff. The best things to get so far are the balloons and Hallmark cards. They're so much cheaper here! The aisles are kind of sloppy and messy, especially the toys aisle. But overall, I really like Dollar Tree now. Great spot to pickup gift bags, gift wrap, seasonal and holiday items. read more

I preferred this store when it was Deals. Now that everything is a dollar, there's a lot more useless junk and all of the cleaning supplies come in super small bottles. Some of the girls who work here are rude and never say "thank you" when the transaction is complete. I always say thank you when I'm getting my change or picking up my bags and they just reply: "you welcome" instead of thanking me for shopping there. What I do like is that it's super close to my house and it's never really crowded. My kids and I go in a few times a week to wander around and never leave empty handed. I am the QUEEN of dollar stores & shop at many of them. I can safely say that THIS Dollar Tree is a ghetto. It is poorly staffed by generally utterly disinterested people, incl. the managers. The displays are a bit illogical & often disorganized. In the winter, I watched as a giant hunk of ice nearly hit a customer as she entered. When the cashier told the staff member who was sweeping at that moment, he just looked at her as if to ask, "And what would you like ME to do about it?" When I tried to return something that didn't work, I was treated like some sort of criminal who was trying to cheat them out of a bottle of fabric freshener. How dare I? Then I had to go back to the shelves THREE times to get something for which the cashier could do an even exchange because they wouldn't refund my money even thought the thing was BROKEN. Even though I explained that I had been out of state for several years & didn't know what was taxable & what wasn't anymore, she just looked at me & said that SHE wouldn't know until I brought her an item & she tried to run it through the system. Seriously?? She called over the manager & he looked at me as if I had 3 heads just for asking. Ghetto, ghetto, ghetto. There are so many dollar stores around, incl part of this chain, that there is simply no reason to age yourself shopping here. read more

I only put one star because I had to pick a start but I didn't want to pick any that's how bad my experience was. I have never seen such and unorganized store where you go to shop and get things you need and you can't go down 80% of the isles because they have all there shipments still on cars just pushed into the isles I needed a lot of items and walked out with nothing because everything I needed was blocked. I asked for a manager or an associate to help me because it's not my job to move there shipments around to access the items I need and 15 minute passes the manager never came to help me so I left the store and went to the one on grand avenue in maspeth and have a pleasant experience there. I guess the metropolitan avenue store in middle village doesn't want to make profit from customers. Never shop here again. read more

LOVE this place! I always come to Dollar Tree first when I need something as they have a great selection of both brand and generic products. I found Cetaphil soap here for $1 when it's about $5 everywhere else! They have a great selection of cards, gift bags, wrapping paper, tissue paper, paper products, toiletries....anything you can think of, they probably have it. Of course, they don't have every brand name for $1, but some of their generic brand products work just as good if not better in some cases. I come here about every week just to see what new things they've gotten in. read more

Love this store. Every time I've visited throughout the last two years, I've never once encountered a person with an attitude - quite the opposite! I'm not sure what sort of service people are expecting to get...yes it's nice when a cashier thanks you but truthfully do you know how little cashiers earn in pay? And the money you spend at this store or any for that matter doesn't go into their pockets...so unless they're unnecessarily rude to a patron, then I don't see any reason for them to thank you. Found everything I needed here and more. I was hosting a dinner for twenty and came in here for plastic cups as I had forgotten that off my other 99c store list and walked out with a cart full. Purchased most of my groceries here all for a dollar. Everything totaled $68. Had I gone to Shop & Stop as I had planned to, I would have spent at least double that. read more

What a terrible experience. I went into this location with my aunts just to pick up a few things. Checking out Gary was checking me out. He was upset that people were still shopping and they were closing. He shoved all my items squishing them into a bag. When I reached over and said no don't shove my stuff in one bag. I asked for his manager and asked if i could speak to them. He said his managed is a he and I'm talking to him. I didn't believe him as I am a retail store manager and would never treat my customers the way he treated me. When I called the store to ask for the manager the girl who picked up handed phone to him. He began to laugh and came out of the store pointing and laughing. This is horrific to treat customers in this way. I will make sure my friends and family know not to ever shop in this store and hope that it closes down. Terrible terrible employees read more

Was buying in this store on november 13 2016 at 16:59 pm with the cashier Monica. She was talking on the phone through the earphones and when I asked the price of my item, she told me with a nasty voice that its a tree store and everything is $1. Then after scanning the item she threw it in my side on the table with disgust. I did the same with the money I gave her. Then she threw the change with the saying "The same to you!". I complained the manager R. and while I was explaining the situation, Monica was interrupting me and screaming nastily at me and said "its because I am black?", I responded : "If its because I am white?" She said "yes" and I said its is racism. read more
