It looks like a typical suburban plaza, a bit sterile and generic. There are no places to eat in the plaza, but there's lots of parking. Anyway, so I was first introduced to Treasure Hunt at Dixie Mall in Mississauga. It's a big outlet store with everything from clothes and shoes, to toys, housewares, bicycles and tools. In my opinion, a lot of their stuff is junk, but there are hidden gems for those with the time and patience to look. When I was there, they had some Banana Republic dresses for $30. They also had lots of Athleta (the athletic wear brand owned by The Gap) pieces for $4. They also had lots of brands that were of no interest to me though, like George from Walmart and Merona from Target, so I had to wade through those, but hey "treasure hunt" is the name of the game, right? ;) Admittedly, the cool stuff was only in sizes 00-4 and XXS-S, so good for the likes of me, but if you are a larger size, you may not have the same luck. They had lots of discount toys, but most of the boxes were opened or pretty bunged up. I was at the Brockville location a few weeks earlier, and the selection at that store was better in my opinion, and the prices were lower for certain things too. Anyway, if you like outlet/discount/liquidation type stores, then you'll probably like Treasure Hunt. It's definitely not for everyone, lol. Lots of free parking in the plaza.

The owners were welcoming but no pressure, happy to see new faces as well as regulars, and are people I can easily imagine trusting to help with a home decor project and enjoying the ride with. A lot of the goods in here were outside my personal price range, but I saw a few signature pieces that wouldn't break the bank and that you know, I just might journey back for.

This used to be a great garden center. The poor leadership has led this location to a large…read moredecline. The trees are shabby and overpriced. More specifically, we bought trees from Cramer and one mature tree was half dead on delivery. That they would even deliver such a poor product shows the lack of professionalism from the start. We refused acceptance of this dead 6-foot tree. After a couple days of chasing the garden center to answer the phone, we were told to accept a refund for the tree or go away. When we stated that this was unacceptable, Christain yelled at me and hung up like I was her boyfriend and not a Customer. When the owner (Mario) was reached, he implied that I chose this dead tree. He offered a refund for the tree and blew me off to some underling. What an arrogant little fool he is. At the end of the day, he will not replace the tree and will refund only the one tree leaving me out of pocket for a delivery fee. What is the word for one who takes money for a product they don't deliver on? Anyway, do your self a favor and avoid this overpriced and poorly run garden center.
