Kind service and delicious drinks! The waffle was fluffy and flavorful too. We came from out of town and immediately felt welcomed.

Perfectly cooked, unbelievably tender, and full of flavor without needing anything fancy. It's the kind of steak that reminds you why simple, well-executed food always wins. Pair it with their classic sides and you understand why generations keep coming back. Service is warm, professional, and exactly what you hope for in a place like this. If you're looking for trendy, keep scrolling--but if you want timeless quality, comfort, and one of the best tenderloins around, The Bright Star is the gold standard.

The waitress was friendly and we received our food in a reasonable time. I ordered the stuff snapper with a grand lemon drop for my drink. The lemon drop was okay. It wasn't the best I have had. It was a little too strong for me. The snapper was nice. The stuffing was a crab and shrimp dressing and the fish was topped with crab. Good experience and evening with friends

We we kid-less last Friday night so we popped on over. The parking lot was not slammed like it usually is, but it was about 5, so still early for a Friday night. There were a fair amount of people inside so I was surprised based on the amount of cars. Don't be fooled like we were! Upon entering the building, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. Mya was our server and SHE made our visit a great one!! She was personable, constantly aware of our needs and as friendly as they get! I'll be honest and say that, although the food tasted good, it was over priced! Hubby and I both had what they call the "Mega Bacon Cheeseburger", thinking that it would be just that... we were disappointed when they arrived at our table. They weren't any more "mega" than their very close neighbor's regular Big J***. The shoestring French fries we tasty but over salted. Because our food was lacking in size, we had dessert. It was the beautiful strawberry, waffle concoction, smothered in chocolate sauce, strawberries, ice cream and pecans... IT and Mya were worth the $30+ we spent. If we return, it'll be for Mya and this strawberry goodness thing that she made! I want to reiterate that the burgers tasted good. We just felt that $10 for cheeseburger sized burger with bacon hyped as Mega was a disappointment. I'm positive that the breakfast plates most likely live up to the hype. My Daddy always said that if you want a good burger, go to a good burger joint. If you want a great breakfast, go to a great breakfast joint! Lesson learned! I always tell y'all to not use my experience to determine how YOUR visit may turn out. Go! Give them a try! Ask! For! Mya!!

This was the worse service that I've ever experienced. Food was ok, but didn't get half of it. The waitress didn't know what was on the menu, didn't bring utensils, no butter, no sugar was brought for coffee, had to ask another server for syrup. It was absolutely terrible service. When it was time to paying, I paid with a card & the card machine didn't work & then she said we needed to pay with cash. My wife suggested she try another one & it worked. In addition to that the men's restroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks or at least the sink appeared that way. And breakfast was $45 for two adults & a child, which was ridiculous ( it was probably not done correct). SMH, I was just ready to get out of there. I wouldn't even rate it a 1 it needs a zero.

I have had the low-carb smoked Gouda burger and several pizzas here and both were really good. My favorites are the White Thunder and Cloud 9 pizzas. Over the years, the wait time has improved. Their pizzas are now available in local Piggly Wiggly stores. They are even available in some local systems as a healthier option for student lunches. I also read an article about the owner and how, after being diagnosed with diabetes, decided to take back his health by changing his diet and he wanted to share his recipes with the community. Bell Peppers is a one of a kind concept, and I hope they are around for a very long time.

Even got to meet the owner and everything. He was very nice and even made our orders for us. So here's a bit about this place. It's low carb friendly, keto friendly, and its a diabetics paradise. The owner if I'm not mistaken is a diabetic himself (Tony made a friend). Everything there was made fresh and was super delicious. The pizza was my favorite and if no one told you, you would never know that the pepperoni, sausage, and bacon on the pizza was all Turkey meat. I was very happy to leave this black owned restaurant not feeling like I shouldn't have eaten this. The inside was very clean and the food is top quality. You get what you pay for. Go check out Bell Peppers and support these local businesses right now!
