I hate having to leave this as all the other experience has always been amazing. This was the first time we stopped by after the name change for brunch during pride weekend on Sunday. There was already a good amount of people waiting when we arrived. They actually were able to seat us right away on the side where the street was at one of the high top counter. Don't think people wanted those seats. One section was empty which we asked if they could moved the umbrella a little to shade us and the other section. We couldn't sit there as we were told that it was for a group of three that was waiting already and they requested it shaded. Ok, so we can't share the umbrella.... Anyway, we sat down and did move the umbrella a little where it would shade everyone but the hostess came back minutes later and moved it back. And of course, the group didn't even sit there which they ended up putting two other people who didn't even care if the umbrella was there... Enough of that. Service was on the slow side. It did take a while till someone came over to take our order as well as brought over some water. Menu did look similar but I'm not sure if they added new items on the menu. After we ordered which did take a while a drink did come out. I had to walk over to the bar section to ask for a straw. Appetizer did come out pretty fast which was the onion blossom. It looked amazing, a little salty but good. The waiter that brought it out for us, I asked for an extra side of dipping but that never came out. As for the main, the honey chicken sandwich and the breakfast croissant. Well, when the dish came out, one of the order was wrong. Instead of croissant sandwich, it was a breakfast sandwich instead. Server was a little taken back and asked the waiter which they looked somewhat confused. Don't know if it was an honest mistake or they just put in the wrong order. Anyways, had to wait for that to come out. Again, still didn't get any extra sauce which I ended up walking to a table to grab some ketchup instead. One of the server did notice but was like whatever. Rarely did we get checked on until I asked for a refill which was once the whole time. When the bill came, I had to ask again. Not once did water get refilled the whole time till the end. Service was just not the same as prior visit. I don't know if it's new management or just a change in name but it wasn't a nice experience. The food was good I give that but service this time, major fail. Hopefully it's not alway like that. Hopefully, next time will be different.

Met and we ordered the kung pao cauliflower, lamb chops, Cesar salad, and Garlic Herb Butter Grilled Shrimp. Everything was delicious! The shrimp in garlic butter sauce with the bread roll was our fav. For dessert we had brown butter cake. Also recommend this sweet treat. It was warm and buttery and we ate every bit of it cause it was so good. We sat outside and were able to talk and people watch. Our waitress was Milani and she did amazing serving us.

Visiting from out of town, I joined my sister at one of her regular weekly spots where she meets up with friends. I felt lucky to tag along and experience it with them. They had recently updated the menu, so she was especially curious to see what had changed, though disappointed to find that her favorite, the chicken tenders, had been removed. We decided to share the honey chipotle sandwich and the gem Caesar salad. The salad was fresh and the dressing was on point, though it could have used a bit more greens and maybe some bacon for extra flavor. The sandwich was tasty but leaned a little heavy on the honey sauce for my preference. The standout was definitely the fries, perfectly crispy from a double fry, topped with fresh herbs and absolutely delicious. The interior has a warm, inviting feel with wood furnishings, and we enjoyed a nice ocean breeze throughout our meal. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon filled with great conversation and good food.

This place is actually pretty good. It's a small little restaurant in a less crowded area of Long Beach. Not as busy as Belmont Shore. It's a little dark inside and they play some pretty mellow music. We visited on a Thursday and I guess on Thursdays, it's "Happy Hour" all day. I wasn't very hungry so we didn't get anything from the Happy Hour menu. We both actually ordered the same thing, the short rib melt. It comes with garlic fries. The sandwich is pretty good. It comes with mushrooms and some spicy peppers. I don't do spicy so I kept those out. I wasn't in the mood for dessert or anything but maybe next time. The customer service was good. There was music playing but not so loud that you can't hear each other talk. I'd definitely come back.

My husband and I decided to go to The Social List around 2 p.m. on a Friday, and it was empty, which was nice. We got a great spot outside, although I do feel like the outdoor tables are pretty small, even for just two people. Still, we wanted to sit in the sun. We started with the coconut shrimp. What made them unique was the seasoning, it gave the shrimp a savory flavor, while the crispy coconut panko added just the right amount of sweetness. They weren't overly sweet like most coconut shrimp, and honestly, they were flavorful enough to eat without the sweet chili sauce. My husband ordered the Backyard Burger and really enjoyed it. His garlic fries were crispy and not overly garlicky; more like regular fries, which he loved. The star of the show for me was the fig & blue burger. It was like eating a charcuterie board in burger form. The fig jam, blue cheese, patty, and bacon all worked perfectly together; sweet and savory in the best way. The only downside was how messy and sticky it was, but that's how you know it's good. The side salad was just okay, but it's a side salad, so I didn't expect much. I'll definitely be dreaming about that burger after my vacation.

Tried Dolores after finding the new brewery "Everywhere ". Loved the brewery in Orange, so we took the trip to see Everywhere in LB. Dolores did not disappoint us. The ambiance is amazing and our server was fantastic. Also everyone loved the food they ordered. Gets 5 stars.

I've been to this place several times over the past ten years. Today was a real treat. Braised Short Ribs served over mashed potatoes & gravy, sautéed spinach and cherry tomatoes. The meat was so tender a knife was not needed and the flavor.... absolutely delicious! The Expresso Martini was a flavor bomb, made with Ketel One. The server was prompt and friendly. Experience was wonderful and I will return. The server informed me that they are changing names very soon to Deloris. I hope the menu and level of service stay. Highly recommend trying!

Cool place located next to cafes, shops, bars, and other restaurants. It's nice for a day out to walk around and stop for lunch, apps, or an early dinner. We came to enjoy some apps for a light brunch and ordered a bottle of champagne (that came with orange juice or pineapple juice), as well as patatas bravas (savory potatoes dressed in Cajun seasoning and slightly zesty) and brisket nachos - pretty simple and good to snack on. Nice, modern, and airy brunch spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. I think it's perfect for a day out. Well-decorated too; they had cute, funny, and classy Halloween decorations up for the season. The wait time went by pretty quickly even though it's a little smaller of a place. The bartender was cool and the staff was nice.

Made a resy here post marathon this weekend and they were able sit 14 of us! Great spot, vibes on point, and all the food was AMAZINGGG. Not a single food item disappointed us, and servers were really attentive and nice. The coconut onion ring was delicious and potato's bravas. Got the kahuna burger which was 10/10. Highly recommend coming here for brunch and can't wait to come back!

Middle of the afternoon is the time to come. You have to pay for street parking and have 3 hour limit. The patio is fun to sit and eatch people and cars. Happy hour, brunch, sandwiches, burgers, beer, drinks they have a little of everything.

    Elyse C.

Went during late brunch/lunch time around 1pm on a Saturday, no line or wait and there were extra tables available I ordered the short rib scramble with sour cream on the side and it came with a side of toast and avocado salsa. It was quite yummy and pretty flavourful with the short rib pieces Ambiance was themed to Halloween for the month of October and they played some Halloween music in the background interchanged with some oldies Parking is on 4th street, metered, or in the small lot off of Cherry ave if you can get a spot (also paid)

I'd been meaning to try this place for some time. The atmosphere was nice. It felt like an upbeat place to head out to for appetizers and a drink. We started the order with Brisket nachos. They came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, they weren't the best. First, the cheese was mainly on one side of the plate with the opposite end being just chips. It had beans and a tiny scoop of guac/sour cream. The taste was okay but nothing I'd be interested in trying again. For the main dish, I was automatically intrigued by the Fig & Blue burger since it had fig jam and blue cheese. The burger was very different (as expected) but tasty. The fries on the other hand were super flaky and were worse than frozen store bought fries. My husband had a burger and fries too and thought the same. Lastly, the place was jam packed and staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but overall were friendly and attentive as much as they could be. I'd consider trying this place again on a slower night.

The perfect spot for Friday Happy Hour!! We got the Zonin Prosecco which was light, refreshing and served in delightful glasses. The Tuscan Summer flatbread packs just the right amount of flavor where every ingredient stands out. From the fresh Burrata to the perfectly crisp bread to the subtle prosciutto plus sharp arugula and perfectly shaved parmessan...a miracle bite! Then-- The Southern Style Spicy Chicken Sandwich--WOW I had dreams about the mouth-watering garlic fries last night, no joke! And the southern style sandwich knocked my socks off with unique yet traditional southern flavor. OMG!!!

And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.

But sadly my mom could not hear us, due to the music being so loud, we did ask twice if they would turn it down a little to no avail. That is too much money to spend, to not be able to hear each other. We had to hurry out because she was getting frustrated.

There's…read morealmost always an event or gathering happening out in their parking area, which gives it a really fun, lively vibe. What I really appreciate is that sometimes it's even kid-friendly, which makes it a great option if you're not just going out solo or with friends. I've been coming around since back when it was Iguana Kelly's, and it's been cool to see how the place has evolved while still keeping that local, neighborhood feel. The location is super easy to find, right next to a donut shop and a mechanic, and across the street you've got a 7-Eleven, Subway, and a few other small spots. Plus, Tommy's Burgers and an Arco are right nearby, so everything you might need is within reach. I tried both the cucumber mixed drink and the mango mixed drink, both were really good, but I personally preferred the cucumber one. It's less sweet and way more refreshing, especially if you're not into overly sugary drinks. We also had a BBQ chicken pizza that they cook in a fire oven (I think it's called a wood-fired pizza), and it was really good, definitely worth trying if you go. Service was good During the outdoor event, they had things set up really well, including a sign that read "21 and over beyond this point only," which helped keep things organized. They also had jumpers outside for the little ones to enjoy, along with tables and chairs so everyone could hang out comfortably. Parking can be a bit tight in their lot, but there's always street parking if you take a minute to read the signs. Overall, it's a great hangout spot with a welcoming atmosphere and something happening more often than not. Definitely worth checking out.

The vibe was perfect...great energy with plenty of room to dance. The cocktails were excellent, and the bartenders, Jose and Jocelyn, were incredibly attentive and helped make the night even better. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with, from the promoter to the security guard, was fantastic and contributed to such a fun welcoming atmosphere. The decor was such a fun surprise...tons of palm trees and inflatables made it feel like you were in a tropical getaway rather than just a pizza restaurant. They also had a photo booth, which added another fun touch to the night. We took a ton of pictures in it. We really appreciated the gender-neutral bathrooms and the overall safe, inclusive environment that made our whole group feel comfortable drinking, dancing, and celebrating. Parking can be rough, but as a Long Beach native I already knew that, so we chose to Uber.. We'll absolutely be making the trip back from North Orange County to visit again!

The staff are friendly but definitely no-nonsense; which highlights how it's a bar that has food rather than a restaurant-type establishment. It's never the first or only stop of the night but it is worth going by just to feel it out and eat.

We arrived and there were a few parties leaving, we walked to the bar area and the two servers were occupied with other guests, so we patiently waited. Finally one of them approached us and shared the menu, another gentleman came to the bar and he was quickly greeted with a hello and our same server immediately shared the menu. The gentleman politely said, these ladies were here first please take their order first, which the server did but was not so happy about. To our surprise the server still prepared his drinks first. The gentleman very surprised apologized since he knew we were there before him. With our drinks in hand we found a table with some empty seats. The table side where we sat had a sprite glass bottle and a glass that hadn't been picked up since the last party left. We moved it a side to set our drinks and finally enjoy our conversation. A different server came to the table and asked the gentleman next to us to get his empty glass and she completely ignored our side. She did another round and I finally asked her to pick up the bottle that was left by another party before us. I asked her for the menu again, she brought it but she did say that I had go back up to the bar to order any additional drinks. We decided to not order a second round and head up to the terrace.
