VERY VERY DISGUSTED!! My husband came to our local Dolphin carpet for carpeting in our bedroom The installers were paid to move our furniture and said it was to much & were looking to get paid more $$ so they called into the general manager on SPEAKER The general manager really said to the installers "oh they have a lot more furniture they must be the gays in Wilton manors" What type of human says things like this??? My husband is very soft spoken so he didn't even know what to do he was so disturbed & was uncomfortable in his OWN home. Then ALL the work stopped until he paid with his card over the phone for the additional fee that we already paid! It felt like extortion. The installers are lucky I was not there. I will be coming into the store to meet this so called general manager. ANYONE living in Wilton manors DONOT shop here!! We must stand together to protect our community as we already have enough against us. I was begged by my salesman to leave a review so here it is!! I WILL be putting signs in front of the store to show the rest of MY community how you really treat us when you think we're not listening until this man is FIRED with an apology to my husband. read more

This most recent installation was an utter disaster. Phil, the sales rep did not file the required paperwork withour condo. The installers did not put a protective tarp on my floor to protect from debris, the baseboards are terrible, my wall are scuffed. I spoke with Jeff once and left 2 messages but got no reply. After deciding to replace our old carpet with luxury vinyl tiles we wanted to give our business to a local small business. We live in Wilton Station and a lot of our neighbors recommended Dolphin carpet and tile. We stopped in on Black Friday and met Avi. The store was a little busy, but he took the time and patience to answer some of our questions. We didn't want to take up too much of his time since there were a few customers ahead of us, but we quickly agreed to have their team come out and take some measurements. To our surprise, it was Avi who showed up on Saturday, on time, which meant a lot to us since he was taking time out of his day, especially on a Saturday. We feel that Dolphin Carpet and Tile is reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for flooring . Would not recommend them under any circumstance. Terrible overall experience... they are more concerned with saving a few dollars than with the customer's satisfaction. First, they forgot to carpet one of my bedrooms. Had to wait a few weeks for that particular carpet to be installed. On the day that carpet was being installed, I discovered that the carpet previously installed in another bedroom was not properly installed so I called the store and asked them to have the installer who was present to fix the other carpet at no charge to me. They refused, and instead wanted me to wait several more days until the installer who made the mistake to come back and fix It. read more

While the product I purchased is a quality product the process of delivery and installation was a horror. Had Phil applied for the permit when I was told he would perhaps ur would have been different. However the salespeople all older Caucasian men were condescending and rude. They do not appear to work collaboratively but instead preferred to have the salesperson deal with questions. Be aware that payment in full is required before they begin the installation. The installers were polite but only one of the four spoke English and the one that did spoke English about as well as I spoke Spanish. I love my floor but hated the experience. I went their because I believed in their reliability but I do not believe they dealt in an honest manner. I would shop around before I hire them. read more

Unresponsive and unwilling to help when we had issues after our tile was installed. We have had a broken tile for many months that is "under warranty" for replacement. No one will return our phone calls to get the tile replaced. We have tried contacting the original sales person, tile installer, multiple other stores and regional manager with NO response. They also refuse to use any other tile installer besides the original person to fix any issues, even if this means the issues don't get fixed. After spending more than $20,000 on tile we are very disappointed with the customer service. read more

Went into the dolphin store on Oakland Park Boulevard ordered my carpeting for delivery within two weeks when the date for the delivery came I was pushed off and pushed off and pushed off past the point where I left to go home and had to cancel my order they tell you anything to get your deposit and then do do I was told when I went to cancel my order that they would refund my deposit but sales person worked really hard to get me a confirmed install date. I did need to extend my stay by 2 weeks but carpet was installed today and installers were very professional and did a great job. I do understand that everything labor related is very different since Covid and do appreciate that they came thru in the end read more

Well, I received a response from Dolphin Carpet Regional Manager Paul Draluck. We spoke on the phone and emailed a little, however what I thought odd and upsetting was he had no previous knowledge of my complaint to the manager. I was informed by the manager Dan he spoke with his manager regarding my issue... Paul disagreed the damage was caused by his installers and referred me to the contract which indicates some damage may occur during installation. He requested to visit my home and see the baseboards, however I already had Dan in my home to see the issue and felt that should have been enough. I refused to allow Paul in my home. We talked about the cost of replacing the baseboards in each room and he again disagreed with my assessment. I offered to have a quote drafted and he indicated Dolphin Carpet replaces baseboards and he is familiar with the cost. He offered to reimburse me $100.00, which I thought was unacceptable. The cost of purchasing the baseboards (not the plastic wood), paint the baseboards and have them installed far exceeds $100.00. Thanks for your time, but no thanks. Not good enough... Accept responsibility your hired installers damaged my home and pay to have the damage repaired. I had all my baseboards painted before the carpet was installed and I know there was no damage. The house was empty when the carpet was installed and no need to see this type of damage unless the installers are incompetent. It is unfortunate Dolphin Carpet will not stand behind their workmanship and fix issues when they occur. Note, I did not call Paul back as I did not believe he was being reasonable with his offer. I now live in my home, (it's not empty like when they installed the carpet) and cost of moving all the furniture to repair / replace the baseboard far exceeds $100.00.
