That being said, we would probably try another hotel if we were to return to Kazimierz Dolny. Three main reasons. The rooms were too small for us (and had too much furniture in it), though the balcony was very nice. They don't have parking so we had to park the car nearly 1/2 mile away. Lastly, they have "saloon" type doors at the front desk and we could hear them every time the employees came in or out of them. Drove us crazy. Luckily we brought ear plugs, but the stupid doors were completely unnecessary.

The café was already here…read morein the communist era and although everything changed since then, Ewelina is still a place to be in Nałęczów. You can book a room at Ewelina, but if you're in town for just a moment, you can also stop by for lunch or a piece of one of their delicious, homemade cakes. Sitting in the garden of Ewelina, sipping tea, is a sort of tradition in Nałęczów. And a very good one!
