Took my mom to Carrollton to get groceries at HMart and afterwards we chose to come here for lunch. Very quaint place, simple menu, service was very good. The young guy who served us was very kind. Food came out very quick and everything was delicious. I really enjoyed my soup it reminded me of my mom's and it hit my craving. Definitely would return.

Amazing authentic Korean comfort food! The broth is incredibly fresh and flavorful -- truly authentic seolleongtang. They give generous portions of tender meat, and the side dishes are all delicious and well-seasoned. I ordered the #2 Seoullangtang, and it instantly reminded me of my time in Korea. They even bring out refreshing barley water! Service is friendly and prompt, and the whole experience feels warm and genuine. This place absolutely deserves more recognition -- a hidden gem in Carrollton!

this place is more like a 4.5 out of 5 stars. if you know me, you know i don't really like soups, and the fact that this place only sells soup and yet i still gave it high rating means a lot. We were in the area, and my wife wanted something warm due to the cold weather. Apparently, the other Doma location has a high rating so we figured this place would too. We ended up getting the #8: Beef baby back ribs with dried cabbage and the #1 seollong tang. i actually wanted to get beef brisket with dried cabbage, but our server mentioned it was really spicy and if i can't handle spice, i shouldn't get it. Glad they told me before i placed the order. While you wait, they will bring out simple banchan and rice with a robot. The wait for our soups didn't take too long. Out of the two soups, i much prefer the Beef baby back ribs with dried cabbage. The soup broth was full of flavor and the baby back ribs were tender and delicious. The seollong tang was really simple and clean tasting. the seollong tang also came with noodles. what i really like about this place is the service. When we walked in with our baby, they brought out a bowl and baby spoons for him. We didn't even ask or mention he was going to eat, but the fact they did it wins a lot of points in my book. Service is top notch! When i'm in the area, and wife is craving soup, we will definitely be back.

Soup is soo clean! service is a tad bit slow with all tables filled and only two people serving. The flavoring is very light so there is salt and pepper on the table if you want to add that in but overall, didn't think it was needed. Very good if you are feeling under the weather

Food here is super good and delicious! Ample parking in the lot, the restaurant is spacious. Side dishes are delicious and their galbitang is fantastic. Service is super kind and she explained to us what was on the menu.

Warm and cozy spot for seolleongtang! Only serve one type of dish so you know it has to be goodddd. Cured my headache and upset stomach after a late night out. Service is very quick, highly recommend!

The broth is rich and comforting, and I'm obsessed with the beef cheek and ox knee--super tender and flavorful.

What a joy to find this place…read more The soup portion was HUGE. I got a spicy beef soup with mushrooms and zucchini and it was amazing. The kimchi was so good that I got a second serving. The gentleman cooking the food was so friendly. He checked on me and gave me two complimentary gyoza. Definitely recommend. My belly is full and I am happy. FYI: You order at a kiosk and they call your number when your order is ready. You get your own water and utensils.

The…read morefood is hearty, flavorful, and feels like it was made to actually fill you up--not just look pretty on Instagram. The noodles had great texture, the broth was rich without being overly salty, and the side dishes were fresh and plentiful. Service was straightforward and efficient--not overly chatty, but they got the job done and kept things moving smoothly. You won't feel ignored, but you also won't be on a first-name basis with your server by the end of the night. Ambiance is simple and casual. It's not trying to be fancy--it's more of a laid-back, everyday kind of place where the focus is clearly on the food. If you're looking for a trendy vibe, this isn't it. But if you just want solid Korean comfort food, it delivers. Overall: great for when you're craving noodles and want an honest, satisfying meal without the frills.

20/10 would recommend to anyone trying out authentic Korean cuisine…read more The combo menu is SOOO worth it. Truly a Korean-style restaurant with plentiful banchan. I absolutely love their scorched rice, which you really can't get anywhere else tbh. Business is always booming here, even on slow days. I've come here on both a random weekday and a weekend, and there's always people no matter what. But don't worry, they clean immediately the moment you walk out that door, so there's no wait time. Everyone eats here. EVERYONE. Korean families, foreigners, youngins who love Korean culture, high school students, the diversity is insane. That's how you know it's good when it's appealing to both Koreans and foreigners.

The food was good, but it was also very uncomfortable…read more They tried to kick us out because we were missing one person from our party, and then changed their mind. We had full meals with no rice. No drink menu brought despite the request. Service worsened after my white husband left. The remaining of us were Black. When we finished the meal they kept throwing open and closing the curtains of our booth and tossing in and removing chopstick boxes. I was finishing an interview with a business associate, so we didn't want to leave just yet. No one was waiting for the table and seats were empty. I said please and thank you in Korean multiple times with no eye contact or acknowledgement. BCD Tofu house tastes better and treats me far better. I used to order carryout and Uber Eats from Cho Dang Village without incident, but now I am guessing they thought I was a driver, not a customer.
