This hotel is located near Aubel and Herve in Belgium, an hour drive from both Brussel airports. It's not a place you would normally choose when holidaying, but it's an ideal stopover when on the move to Aachen, Liege or Maastricht or if you plan to visit a company in this area. Whilst the hotel is surrounded by industrial sites, you won't notice the surroundings too much, as the premise offers an oasis of peace and tranquillity.
The hotel is privately owned and maintained by very lovely people. They keep the place going.
The rooms are located on two floors, if not 3 floors, in one section of the hotel. If possible, try to avoid a room near the side entrance as the hall walls echo noises, especially from the floor or if people are talking when on their way to their rooms.
The interior is very modern and everything is very clean. The rooms are very spacious.
At the back of the hotel there is a patio where you can enjoy a lovely summer evening outside and you will also find a children's playground area and lots of green space. Plenty of parking is available for guests.
When there you have the choice to join their 5 star restaurant serving a set menu for the day. The menue changes frequently, if not every day. I wish I could eat there all the time as the food is first class and I can't stop praising it. You pay a certain amount for your 3 or 4 course menue.
No smoking inside the building.
The rooms do not offer water nor coffee/tea making facilities, so best to take some water to the rooms.
You will need a car or taxi to get there. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room at the back of the building and the choice is extensive! You won't be able to eat it all, so best to pack up your lunch too :-)
The restaurant is open to anybody, so ideal for a quick break of sorts or an enjoyable memorable evening. Enjoy! read more
