8/16 walked in shortly after they opened there where only two guys cutting and both had appointments with +3 walk ins ( me being the third. Shortly after the third barber came. Guy with the dreadlocks was cool and seemed to know what he was doing. Up untile a 4th guy walked in & he then started to rush it seemed to get through my hair cut. Long story short i paid the guy and undeserving $30 for the right side of my beard/mustache to be unfinished, hairline pushed back & CROOKED AS ALL HELL, & some "alfalfa" hairs here and there on my head indicating that he missed spots and was inconsistent with his performance. Definitely my FIRST & LAST time walking into UTICA looking for a haircut. read more

these are the absolutely rudest group of men I have ever encountered. I came into to get a cut, I happen to be female, just a shave around the sides of my head and they treated me like dirt. So absolutely mean abs pretentious. I will never ever even step onto that street again. read more

I have been visiting this barbershop for quite some time. I've found myself becoming less and less impressed with my experiences there. Sadly, it went from bad to worse during my most recent appointment where I was present for a very unprofessional conversation. Perhaps the barber did not realize I speak fluent Spanish. Anyhow, they began to discuss their views on homosexuality and religion, making quite a few comments that raised my eyebrows. Frankly, the only reason I did not walk out was because I didn't want to leave with an unfinished haircut. However, I will in the future, gladly take my business elsewhere. It is beyond unprofessional, and actually unfathomable that these young men chose to discuss these hateful ideas in a place of business. It is not okay to make any customer feel the way that I did that morning. read more

The haircut I received from this place was good( not great), but as far as customer service/ attitude this place is terrible,and will continue to be until more people from this community stop being scared to tell this estnishment the truth that many people in Utica already know (mainly by the guy who cut my hair who seemed to be the head barber/owner was a bit too cocky for himself like is was someone beyond just another barber in Utica.) Another more disturbing thing that I did notice while I was visiting this shop was the mass amount of ants that was crawling around this barbers work station,in which I brought to this attention (which is likely started to become a bit pass aggressive towards me ,with his punk ass at the end of my visit at this place.) I would tell others to seek out other places in the area that will likely provide you with a better overall experience then this place. Places like this need to be put on notice and held accountable for their lack of professionalism. read more
