I've dined in multiple times during the years, but more recently I've used their offering on Uber Eats, to make use of my Uber ONE membership and ongoing promotions I've had on my account. On my most recent two visits, I ordered their Winter Bundle, which consists of a portion of dough balls and a pizza, opting for the gluten-free dough balls and gluten-free Double American Pizza, which is a delivery-exclusive pizza from their most recent menu update which is their regular American pizza, but with double the pepperoni and cheese. My pizza was really tasty, it packed a punch in terms of flavour, while the dough balls were just ordinary and would have been inedible without a generous dollop of garlic butter. They became regulars at markets such as Altrincham's and there was always a queue of customers waiting hungrily for their wares. Fast forward to today and though there have been a few new pizza makers setting up their stalls in markets, at festivals and in bricks-and-mortar venues across Greater Manchester, they are still held in the highest regard. More so for the fact they have a permanent site inside Altrincham Market House which has itself won awards for being a fantastic food destination. Their blue mosaic tiled pizza oven (shipped over from Italy) is a thing of beauty and sits proudly producing probably several hundred doughy masterpieces each week. Their thin, beautifully charred sough dour pizzas are available in a regularly changing range of options, though they are probably better-known for their Atomica which includes 'Nduja, (a hot, spreadable sausage). The city centre, once devoid of seriously decent pizza, now has the likes of PLY, Rudy's, and other restaurants upping their game; Honest Crust are, for me, the real trailblazers and have to be eaten at repeatedly.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Pizza Hut has started offering delivery much further afield than Uber EATS, while it does cost more on the regular menu and then the expensive delivery fee of £3.49 and Uber's fees on top of that, it is one of the better Pizza Hut locations I've ordered from. My pizza seemed to have extra cheese which added moisture and wetness to make the base more edible, the gluten-free pizza base does seem to have changed to a slightly smaller rectangular shape compared to my last visit and while the base isn't fantastic, the extra cheese made all the difference to avoid a massive pile of pizza base I'd spat out in my bin. It still costs more than other stores before you even add fees etc onto that and it does work out overpriced but still probably the best pizza delivery I can get in Middleton right now, and it comes from Oldham! 3*

I like weird stuff on my pizza though, as you may have discovered after reading my Shiraz review. APS does 18 inch pizzas with every slice a different topping, if you so choose. When ordering with my mate, he will only ever eat margarita pizza, so I end up only have half a pizza with weird stuff on, but still. I'm talking parma ham, rocket, brie, anchovies....all sorts. And those four slices are practically a meal. In fact, I'm sure if you thought about it and chose your toppings carefully, those four slices would count as a balanced meal. My favourite is the meal deal: two garlic breads, two bottles of coke and and 18 incher for around £14. When you consider standard pizza delivery places charge that much for a bog standard pizza, its pretty good. And once you've phoned up once to order, they save your number so that next time you call, they already know what you want and where. I'm impressed by that. APS I love you.
