Going with the dolsot bibimbap, the flavors that came out in the dish were what I was hoping for. It is a small Japanese Sushi and Korean Restaurant, but it is comfortable. The service is so good, they are so friendly. I ordered Tempura Udon and Dwaenjang Jjigae (Soybean soup), which come with Kimchi and rice. Both of them taste so good, and the Kimchi is so fresh. Came here with my mom and dad and had a fantastic meal. The staff are very comforting and catered to my parents korean cultural background. The food was delicious and genuinely delightful. We ordered bento boxes that i highly recommend. I ordered my personal favorite yukgae jjang, spicy beef soup. The interior design was very oriental and easy on the eyes. I felt right at home. Have you ever sat down at a restaurant and wished that you could have avocado maki with a side of kimchi? Or Bulgogi with a few pieces of tempura? Well you don't have to wish anymore because this place has it all! I must admit I was a bit shocked to find this little gem tucked away on in the corner of a busy town square (Neubrunnenplatz). The restaurant is a bit small with a few tables downstairs, and a decent size upstairs seating. The menu is straight forward with one half being Korean and the other Japanese. I had the "Chicken Run" maki (grilled chicken breast and lettuce), Avacado makki, with a big plate of Bulgogi and it wasn't too shabby (slang for pretty good). Since I've worked in Japan many times, I spoke a bit of broken Japanese which made the owner happy has a gave me a nice glass of plum sake (yummmmmmmm). However... this place doesn't win any smell awards as the aroma of fresh kimchi floats in the air, so it's probably not the best place to eat before a big first date, unless you both are into Kimichi cologne...then if so.. do your thang :)! We love eating here! We get the belly pork for 2 people and their beef bulgolgi. NOT the beef bulgolgi special for 2 people. It tastes completely different. I LOVE the noodles in the beef bulgolgi. We also love to get the Mandu, California roll and miso soup! read more
