It's also walking distance to many bars, restaurants, the main cathedrals, the ferry peir, and the bus/train station. Staff: very friendly and always with a smile. Says a lot considering they probably have to answer the same exact types of questions to each traveler. They man the front desk 24/7 and will buzz you in whenever you choose to return home. They also clean the common areas daily and it shows. Interior: the hostel is all on the 3rd floor (no elevator) on both sides of a main staircase. There are a variety of rooms from doubles to dorms (6 beds). There are also shared bathrooms/showers on either end of the hall. A bit of a rush in the morning, but otherwise not so bad. Misc: a significant amount of hot water heaters (to bond over coffee or tea); a 'free food' section from travelers who couldn't take the food with them; a very large common area/kitchen; a large variety of maps/tips/schedules; and they will print for 1 euro. The room was comfortable for two people and the shared bathrooms were super close! The kitchen facilities are awesome, plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans to use. They do not have double bed, only twins according to the reception. The breakfast is ok, limited on the choice of bread and meats (no bacon but meatballs that are mass produced). Strongpoint is the airport bus stops in front of the hotel (615TK or 615) and it is relatively inexpensive (for skandinavian hotels) and above all free internet
