This was our lunch spot on our road trip west. I'm adding my great review to the ones already posted. When we entered we were greeted and given instructions on ordering and such. It was super busy and we found the last two stools near the bar which was fun because we got to watch them make the sandwiches. We chose the Italian sandwich and split it. Good choice as it was a rather large portion. So many fresh ingredients and outstanding crusty bread. They warm up the bread and use a blow torch to melt the cheese. The method creates a toasty, warm sandwich but also gives the edges a nice crisp. So good. The meal comes with chip (bag of Lays). Would have loved to have kettle chips as an option. Everything was so good. Staff was super busy but were getting in-house and take-out orders done quickly. Loved the hand painted mural of leaves in the restaurant. So glad we made the detour off the freeway to have lunch here.

Great Italian Sandwhich! Loaded with meat and bread, the Italian Deli is a balance of savory yet sweet. Potato salad, get it. Owner is attentive and friendly, was able to order and get my meal in 15 mins even with the lunch rush. A few open seats in the restaurant otherwise you kinda hover in a corner, restroom in the back corner.

Turkey and bacon sandwich with potato salad

My husband and I stopped in today for lunch and loved both of our sandwiches (he got the Italian deli and I got the turkey & bacon). Both had plenty of delicious meat and a yummy herb and garlic aioli. By far my favorite part, however, was the ciabatta--soooo good! I chose the potato salad as my side and while it had a good dill flavor, I think I may have gotten a salty batch today. Worth a try though as multiple reviews state it's the best potato salad they've ever had. The shop itself is pretty small with only a handful of seats so it does fill up quickly as it seems to be a popular spot. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Veggie Sandwich (subbed Dijon for red pepper aioli spread)

Very friendly and accommodating staff, cute interior, fresh tasting food. I was pleasantly surprised half the sandwich held up in the fridge for the next day. They were great at explaining the menu, and substitutes. My only issue was that I asked for mustard instead of spread to save some fat and calories, and when I asked what mustard they had, they told me Dijon. I assumed that meant normal Dijon mustard. Instead I got a creamy Dijon spread, that I ended up blotting a ton of. It tasted great and I didn't necessarily tell them I was asking first mustard for macros-related purposes, but I would've liked to know it was just a different thick spread. Overall though, great sandwich, impressed with the experience and I'll be back.

Boise, ID Went out of our way so that we could stop at this sandwich shop. It came with such great reviews. Driving from Oregon to Salt Lake took a side trip just for this. DELICIOUS!!!! You must come here. Not many Yelp reviews live up to their stars. This one exceeded it. Walked in and Charly greeted us right away. Pleasant and kind. Asked if we had been in before. Then proceeded to offer us ideas of sandwiches to choose from, going into detail describing the sandwich. Went with the turkey. Lots of meat, pickled onions, honey mustard, pepperonci and more. The best part is the bread. Fantastic! We told them we were going to split one sandwich and they did it for us in the kitchen and gave us both ample amount of chips. Very clean restaurant! Very clean bathrooms! Stopped by Boise State after eating here and told a few employees right away about this place. They are local and had not heard of it but said they were going to put it on their must go to list. I am so impressed with this. I hope my business brings me back through town so I can come again.

I'm hesitant to write another positive review on this place because I don't want people to know about it. It's a treasure. Quite possibly my favorite sandwich I've ever had. Expected a fairly long wait because this place is getting popular and every sandwhich is fresh. My wife and I have talked about this sandwich more than we'd like to admit. If you don't believe me, just look at this photo.

Incredible, superb, delicious. This place should have at least a thousand 5 star reviews. Wife, daughter and I ate here based on yelp review. What we had and description: Wife: BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Quote - "Culinary masterpiece" Daughter: Turkey and Bacon Sandwich Quote - "Who knew my tastebuds could party like that" Me: Italian Sandwich - "Unbelievably delicious. Truly next level" Sandwiches were made by the owner with great care and detail. He greeted us immediately with a "hello" and a smile when we walked in which made us feel very welcome. Music, people, and vibe was great and blended together wonderfully. The pricing is commensurate with the quality of sandwich. In fact, I would be willing to pay even more because these sandwiches are worth it. Oh, and the potato salad - OMG! Establishment was clean, bathrooms clean, prep area clean. Delicious drink selection (get the crème soda). Everything was perfect! Do yourself a favor, don't look at any other reviews and just go straight here. I promise you won't be dissappinted .

Don and Charly...they are like my Thelma and Louise of Sami adventures. The Joanie and Chachi of my spin off Sami love affair. This joint was a pleasant surprise. Nestled right in between the barber shop and Zen Bentos you can't blink without walking past the door...but you would be wise to tape those eyelids open and get into THIS Sami shop. That bread with all its light luscious air pockets to capture all the balsamic glaze goodness atop those cured Italian cold cuts. It's something special they got here folks. The atmosphere is spot on, very welcoming as well. It's cozy but perfect for what it is and needs to be. The Italian deli sandwich was great, the potato salad was spot on...not overcooked mash, but firm well seasoned greatness of a salad finished with that paprika...bellisimo! This place is fire...get in, order, and eat up Boise.

They had a wet towel ready to go. No little moist toilettes to deal with. The mushroom pizza was delicious. I had a few slices and got the rest to go. Here is where the service was top notch. I went to the bathroom to. Wash up before heading back out. By the time I got back, my pizza box was gone. Come to find out the trainees were over eager and bussed it away. I was ready to honestly just leave it, but one of the workers said they would look for it. While waiting, another came over and said they would make me a fresh one to go. They offered any drink while I wanted, chatted with me while we waited for the pizza to be made, and then ever offered a dessert to go on top of everything. I did not take them up on the dessert offer, but I was so very appreciative at the end. Mistakes were made, but their commitment to service at the end was honestly wonderful and amazing. I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

It has a nice ambience. Inside are a combination of booths, half booths, low and bar height tables, dark wood, with a nice semi-circular bar with a nice, semi-circular metal decoration that was filled with artificial plants, wine bottles, and small kegs. There was a wine rack accent wall on the right. It is located in downtown Boise at the corner of Idaho and 8th St along restaurant row. Our server was Matthew B, and while he was a nice guy, he did not provide good service. It took him a while to get to our table, then after we ordered drinks, it took too long to get them. We then ordered appetizers but he didn't take our dinner orders. We waited too long for the appetizers, and then we ordered our dinners, which also took a while to come out. Runners brought our food out, not Matthew. He did not to refill the women's sodas, we had to ask. He did bring another glass of wine to one of the men, but that was because he was signaled. He did not ask the other people that ordered beer and cocktails if they wanted another. We never had our water glasses refilled. We told him about the birthday celebration, and all he said was, if we ordered dessert, he would put a candle on it. What? Most places serve a complimentary dessert for a birthday celebration. He also took too long to bring us our checks. We're all good tippers. We gave him 15%; he didn't deserve it. The food was OK, not spectacular, but overpriced. As far as the apetizers, the asparagus fries were not that flavorful, though nicely crusted. The cauliflower was just OK, likewise the chicken wings. I did like the honey and balsamic grilled brussel sprouts. Speaking for my wife and I, she liked the BAM Sammy. The side salad was average. I ordered the Urban Burger. While the patty was cooked well, it was small. I can get a bigger, better burger that costs less at any number of restaurants we frequent, including a few near us (we live in Star). I did like the fries. Crispy, with I believe Parmesan cheese coating them. My friend said his smoked salmon salad was just OK. We found it very loud, and difficult to hear each other in conversation. Needless to say, we have no plans to return to Fork.

After we were seated it took another 10minutes or so for our server to come up and introduce herself. Note, online it calls for a dress code of business casual, so my husband wore a collard shirt and I had a nice dress on. The servers were not dressed business casual at all. Most had plain t-shirts on, one had overalls (cute, but still not business casual attire) and quite a few had face/body glitter on. I assume the glitter was because it was Treefort that weekend. Anyways.... After our server finally canoe over and took our order, service was smooth. Dinner was delicious. I got the chicken and mushrooms and it was a very generous portion. My husband got the sablefish and was pleased with his meal as well. Note about the bathrooms, they are outside through a door and down a couple of hallways. They share the bathrooms with the rest of the building. Maybe be difficult to access if you need assistance walking. Not impossible, just a little trickier than if they were inside the restaurant. I felt like staff checked on us, but was not overly attentive. Perfect!! We had the Percy potatoes (so good and the perfect crunch) and the sugar snap pea appetizers ( wish the menu would have stated the peas are served cold- my husband loved, but I don't like cold sugar snaps) For our main I had the chicken, mash and asparagus. All 10/10 and you could really taste the smoke of the oven. My husband had the sticky ribs and he said some of the best he's ever had! We finished off our meal with a delicious slice of carrot cake.

They are in a nondescript spot and we almost walked by but thank God we didn't. From the friendly hostess to the attentive waitress to the excellent food, it was a place worth visiting. We started with their spinach artichoke dip with house-made fermented hot sauce (spicy, tangy and delicious). Then I ordered their phenomenal short rib pasta and my wife had a salad that could have fed both of us. The vibe of Percy is a mix of business professional and casual lunch with friends. The music was classics and the decor is refined with huge windows to view the surroundings. If you are ever in the Boise area, I would recommend you get to Percy. It will be worth it.

You can truly taste how fresh the ingredients are -- bright herbs, perfectly balanced sauces, and flavors that taste authentic and thoughtfully prepared. I grew up helping at my mom's Thai restaurant when I was young, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to Thai food. This place exceeded my expectations. The flavors brought me back -- fresh, vibrant, and made with care. We ordered: * Pad Thai * Mango Salad * Seafood Soup * Yellow Curry * Fried Chicken with Sticky Rice * Thai Tea The Pad Thai was perfectly seasoned with great texture. The mango salad was fresh and crisp with amazing balance. The seafood soup was rich and comforting. The yellow curry was smooth, flavorful, and not overly heavy. The fried chicken with sticky rice was crispy, tender, and so satisfying. And the Thai tea? Absolutely perfect. On top of the incredible food, the service was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The mix of Thai and Burmese dishes really sets it apart from other places in town. The food was overall really flavorful dishes like khao soi papaya salad and other northern Thai dishes , and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. The flavors feel more traditional compared to a lot of Thai spots around here. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which gives it a cozy vibe, but it can feel a little tight and busy during peak hours, so it's not the best place for big groups unless you plan ahead. Service was friendly and welcoming, and food came out pretty quickly even when it was busy. Overall, it's a great spot for quality Thai food in Boise. definitely one of the places I'd come back to when I want something more authentic and a little different.
