    Flautas
    Bella E.

I came here for the first time with my mom and ordered the flautas. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy them. They were supposed to be crispy, but instead they were soft and greasy. My rice was also cold. Overall, this was disappointing, and sadly it will be my first and last visit.

The carnitas burrito had good flavor but the paper got soggy.

Like others, my husband and I came here for lunch based on the great reviews, but the restaurant didn't live up to the hype for us. The overall experience, mostly because of lack of attention to detail, will not bring us back anytime soon. The space (on the second floor) is large and open but very bland. When we walked in the door on the ground floor, the server yelled from upstairs for us to walk up the stairs to the upper floor. There were a few tables on the first floor but they weren't offered even after I said I had back problems and had trouble climbing stairs. I asked if there was an elevator and there wasn't, so right off the bat, I felt like people with disabilities would not be comfortable here. The waitress brought chips and a spicy green sauce and they were both good but when she came to take our order I asked for pico de gallo, to cool the palate after the green sauce, but she didn't bring it. She sat at a table at the back of the restaurant and I guess she was going to bring the pico with the entrée. I had to get up from the table and ask her to bring the pico so we could have it with our chips. The pico was okay, flavor-wise, but it was too heavy on onions and light on tomatoes. My husband got the chile relleno. He said the flavors were interesting but the cheese inside the poblano was not melted, which is essential for a good chile relleno. He said the rest of his food (black beans & rice) was okay but that everything was salty. I was disappointed that the enchiladas didn't come with beans and rice so I got a carnitas burrito. They served it on a plate covered with paper for some reason. When I cut into the burrito of course the paper got wet and soggy. It was messy to pick up the two halves of the burrito so I could pull out the mangled paper but if I hadn't, I would have been eating paper! There was no place to put the paper so I had to leave it on the table. Like my husband, I thought the flavors were interesting but everything was too salty. We ordered a side of guacamole and it was so salty we couldn't eat it. So, between the bland atmosphere, the difficulty making it up the stairs, and the overly salty food, there wasn't anything compelling enough to make us want to return.

Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla (very large and very good!)

I know it's been a bit since my last review, but I have a feeling that this new restaurant is one worth checking out. I'm talking about Don Esteban on Limekiln Pike in Dresher, PA My brother and I went last night, and it's really nice to have a Mexican restaurant as close to us as this. While some feel that the lighting is too bright, I felt that this was excellent, and I want to be able to read the menu. I like how the downstairs entry is set for pick up, and the upstairs is for dining in. This way, I'm not interrupting other people's dining experience. Now let's talk about the food! The food here was delicious! I had the Carne Asada (steak), and it came with something I had never had: a cactus leaf! It was so good! I also had the Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla. It was as large as the ones I've had in San Jose, and just as yummy! I followed this up with mandarin Jaurritos soda. My brother had a Quesadilla, and the Chicken Chimichanga, which he said reminded him of our favorite ones from Chi-Chi's back in the day, and our California trips. All and all, I highly recommend this place! The food and service are excellent, and the portions are plentiful. Prices are commensurate with the current economy, minus a dollar or two. The only reason for only four stars, is due to location. It's at an odd intersection that you much just blow past it too soon, so get your favorite Map app out and plan ahead. Other than that, enjoy your mean at a great Mexican restaurant!

Came here for lunch and got to try their quesabirra! It was so good! The dipping broth that came with taste amazing. Our kid even out rice in it and it should be its own entree! Fish tacos were great too. Glad to be able to dine in today. We usually takeout and this has been our regular takeout place.

Being from Arizona, I eat quite a bit of Mexican food and do get some authentic eats since we are so close to Mexico. I was a little worried trying Mexican food in the east coast, but we were both really happy with the food we got here. The service was very friendly and the location was very clean. I appreciate the staff assisting with boxes as we definitely ordered more than we can eat as we wanted to try various items. It was great for leftovers and a midnight snack as I can get munchy at different times due to the time zone difference. I'd definitely return when visiting her and would recommend to anyone in the area if they want Mexican cuisine.

The one on the outside of the four was dry, but the other was good. If you don't like spicy, as I don't, avoid the peppers used for garnish. The refried beans were wetter than I expected, but I did like that some whole beans were stirred in. The bowl of street corn was my favorite bite of the meal. The texture of the guacamole was similar to the beans, with part of it wetter than expected, but also with chunks of tomato stirred in. I've never been fond of Mexican rice so can't comment on that.

Delicious and hit the spot HOWEVER, I am deducting a star from my prior five-star review as their online promotions which you must order online btw to redeem any of your loyalty points are very hard to use and redeem online. There was a special offer for Free Guac and when I went to redeem it the toggle button had an error. I have gotten this error message many times before on other items that I am entitled to and have earned through my points. To paraphrase, you must download the Bubbakoo's Burritos app on your phone and order through said app even if you are in their parking lot! If they updated their system like how you are able to redeem items at any of the payout kiosks at CVS it would be so much easier for the patron and improve customer loyaltly. Anyway, I will still come back but it is becoming less and less easy to order here. ***If you want their garlic parmesan gluten free sauce they do not even have that option listed on the app, you have to go into the store and tell them that is the sauce you would like. The ordering line had food all over the counter with cross contamination of toppings. When I was waiting in line to order my food, one of the worker just kept running his mouth and joked around with another worker, which is fine whatever but when it got to my food, he looked at me and said "did you get double meat" and I told him no. Then he look at his friend and start running his mouth about how he gave me too much meat. Whatever the case was with the portion size, that was very unprofessional to talk in front of a customer. I know chipotle employees are trained to follow the portion sizes however, if it's a poorly managed location, no employee is going to follow that especially if the GM doesn't reinforce that. Also because he was too busy "bashing" on the other worker, he didn't even give me all the topping I asked for.
