When we returned to the court room, he was so nervous that I would tell the Judge. Next day he was totally a different person a Jekyll and Hyde person. Then he wanted to be fully paid. As I said he did NOT present all the pertinent documents to the court. The Judge said, "I can only rule on what is presented." So make sure ALL the information is presented to the court. Know your rights, you can fire your attorney at any time. Also you CAN tell the Judge that you are not being represented accurately and that all the information given to your counsel has NOT been presented. My case was not handled properly and I lost in many ways not just money/financial, emotional restitution and dignity and respect but I lost faith in my not being BOLD enough to stand up and say Richard J. KAPLOW is not fit to take or continue with my case and should not be paid one penny. Just also remember this: who ever has the money in this world (now) wins! No matter if you are right.
