I was a patient of Dr. Garg for over 20 years. I have never been a problem, always treated the staff with respect\n There was a few things I would have done differently, but nothing major. About a month and a half ago I went in for an emergency appointment , and i've only done that two times in twenty years , I thought I was having a nervous breakdown come to find out I wasn't having a nervous breakdown.I was crying all over the place.You figure the doctor would think something is wrong.She's never acted this way , but he did not. I found out that\n I had pneumonia and septus, which made me delirious. That was the cause of me acting the way I was acting.It was not me. About a week after the appointment, I got rushed to the hospital stayed there a long time.I beat the septis and called Dr. Garg, after I got out of the hospital to see if I could come back him being a Dr. And me seeing him for 20 some years.\n I had faith that he would understand it was not me. It was a medical issue. He decided to close my account and toss me to the curb and one hundred percent abandoned me knowing I needed psychiatric care , desperately. He knew it was not me.It was the delirium from the septus.He still went ahead and closed my account. So no matter who you are, proceed with caution.\n Doctors do not act this way they understand and he should have understood. He should have not left me out in the cold to fend for myself. Without setting something up or an explanation. I have been shaking for days because of his response, just 20 years mean nothing, he has my medical records that says it was not me.It was a septus and the delirium. I truly thought he cared about his patience.He does not , and I can promise you that. I'm not gonna talk horrible about him. He has to live with himself and he has to face the Lord. In the end, he should not be a psychiatrist. He should not be a doctor I will be reporting him to the psychiatric association because this was not something I could have helped. Because he did that closed.My account and left me stranded.My anxiety and my medication was out which sent me into a severe withdrawal\nAnd contributed to having a heart attack. That is not a doctor.\nI am a christian so I will not say what I think he is. For future patients, please understand you are not special proceed with caution. I cannot repeat that enough. I do not want you to have a heart attack or get tossed to the side without a safety net. I never thought I would say this, but he needs to retire and leave. He's putting lives in danger. And I'm gonna dedicate what life I have left into making sure that everybody knows and he pays for what he has done I cannot be the only one. However, after an appointment today with Dr. Palfey, who is an OB/GYN as well as internal medicine, my anxieties were quelled. She was friendly, respectful of questions and spent an adequate amount of time with me - I never felt like she was just hurrying through to get to her next appointment. No complaints and would recommend her to my girlfriends and fellow Yelpers alike.

Dr. Kaplan actually went through all of that paperwork I had to fill out with me. We had a great discussion about my overall health, what brought me there, and how she might help me.
