I have eaten at Beijupirá Olinda several times, but I don't think I will be coming back again…read more Beijupirá has five locations, and I have eaten in 3 of them. I think I only wanted to like this place, but the truth is, I really don't. What is nice is the entrance: you enter either descending down a winding stair through a tropical garden or you can a funicular (which is as cute as heck). The restaurant itself is just a rectangular box, that when full is as noisy as a cafeteria.
They have 3 tables outside, and this was the first time that we sat here and if you must eat here, I recommend that you choose to sit outside.
The food is another problem for me. The plating is very amateurish, and most plates look similar. All of their fish offerings are breaded and fried, which, to me shows a lack of creativity and is rather boring. I had their jambalaya, which was without flavor.
Service is mediocre and confused. After receiving our appetizers, another waiter came to deliver the appetizers again. For the prices they charge, the food and service are not commensurate.
