We went for lunch in the Luca City the region of Puglia .
Our tour brought us to this place. Such a quaint simple Trattoria situated outside of the city.
At first it looked more of a farm house and yes it was.
The interior was an old Italian family farm setting. The ceiling s were made of their native stone so quite cold .
The attendants were very friendly and attentive. Spoke little English so the menu explanations were translated by our tour guide.
We started with all potatoes appetizer potato salad so tasty and so authentic. The capers and olive oil made it home cook taste.
The fried potato croquette and pasta dough were the my favorite.
The baked beans were filling. Fresh baked Cauliflower with cream sauce really good.
Red wine and still water were endless served.
The main dish was average. I didn't eat it all after those potatoes appetizers. I was full.
The dessert was a simple vanilla and strawberry Italian ice cream.
Overall, it was a very sweet pleasant experience.
This was based on my personal experience.
