Up till yesterday, I was about to give him and his firm a 5 star review but everything changed yesterday. I hired Bob on Sep 2023 and officially started working together in October 2023. At the beginning, everything was so nice and professional and he was so responsive. The only red flag is that he told me the process to get my case together and filed will take 3 - 4 months and then 4 months passed by and nothing was ready so I reached out to him and he and his team got right to it and submitted my case at the end of 5 months. But that wasn't really a problem given the holidays and busy time of the year. And after that we didn't have any contact until July when he send me an email letting me know that my I-140 was approved and in the same email he said that he will reach out again to me in August to tell me the next steps and help me track my priority date. I haven't heard from him in August so I sent an email on August 14th following up and he emailed that he was away in a conference and that his colleague will reach out to me on the week of August 16th. I waited until August 24th and no one reached out to me so I followed up again that I haven't heard from you. Can you please let me know when will be proceed with the next steps? He then replied that his colleagues will reach out to me the upcoming week. And also no one did (all this time his colleagues were in the email chain and didn't follow-up with me or respond to anything). So yesterday (August 30th) I reached out to him and this time asked him to let me know what's going on and if he's still interested in assisting me with the next step in the process. His colleague replied that they will have an update for me by the end of the day and then he replied with a lengthy email saying that I was bothering him and that they were ignoring me on purpose because I'm not educated on the topic and if I want a lawyer to hold my hand I should hire someone else because he doesn't have the time for that and to stop bothering him. I told him that I was reaching out to him because he said that he will follow up with me and never did and then I told him that I will not be proceeding with him anymore. So he replied: good, we're doing with you as well. I also told him in the email that I will be reaching out to the person who recommended him for me and I will show them the emails so they know what kind of lawyer they're suggesting for people. And I also told him that I will be leaving a google review with my experience with the firm and how he was being disrespectful and he said: do it. You're an annoying idiot. All of my emails to him to follow up were very short and respectful. Just asking for an update. Nothing more nothing less. I didn't do or say anything that warranted this level of disrespect and hostility. I have documentation of all of this as well. So to summarize the experience. Yes he's nice and professional in the beginning until your case is done and then the opposite happens (which is weird because I was reaching out to him and following up because I was going to hire him for the next steps!). The other shocking part in all of this is that his colleagues were part of the email chain and no one said anything or stopped him from talking to a client like this and harming their business. The level of comfort he displayed in being disrespectful, aggressive and verbally abusive and that non of his colleagues said a word tells me that he's used to doing that to clients and that they're ok with it. So now you have the full picture and you can decide if his competitive prices are worth hiring him to handle your sensitive case?
