My husband brought in his industrial mower in the beginning of June to be fixed. We were told we would get a call in a few days to pick it up. A week went by, no call. We called and were told they would have to order parts. This went on for the ENTIRE month of June - Not a good time to have no mower. My husband needed it for our home, our parents home and for a place he volunteers. Finally, when we were able to reach them, they informed us "it was very expensive - the parts were very high" - The bill was $500. The mower at 3 years old wasn't worth more than $500! We told them we did not want the work done, but they had gone ahead and done it. We did not get a call ahead of time asking us if we would want work done that would be that costly. When my husband expressed his upset about not being informed they at first hemmed and hawed, than later said they had it on record that they had called. They most certainly did not. When my husband was finally able to go and pick this up, 5 weeks after he dropped it off, it turned out they don't take credit cards. We do everything online or in cash, so my husband said he would get him a check at some point. Within a couple of days we were getting harassed with calls. My husband works usually 12 hours a day and we do not live in Millis. He also works in Boston, so it wasn't super convenient to drop by. I then got a phone call from them on my husband's phone which I picked up because he had left it at home and was out at the store. The owner spent 10 minutes detailing everything that had happened and telling me things that were not appropriate to share with someone who was not the customer. He then said he would come by our house. At dinner, with our 5 children, he came to the door. My husband was furious. It took them 5 weeks to get the mower done and we could never reach them, and now they showed up at our house to collect! I would NEVER do business with these people again. I should have done my research as I have now heard of other issues customers had with them in the past. Lesson Learned! read more
