The basic wash uses a neoprene brush, that and along with their recycled water that is full of abrasive elements after washing multiple cars all day, has left scratches along both sides of my brand new 2026 vehicle. Delta Sonic's area manager Dave was very rude accused me of lying about the damages and the brush causing the damages. He refused to look up camera footage from February, March and April to prove that yes they did use those blue round neoprene brushes on my vehicle even though that was not in my plan. He reprimanded me for having less than 7,000 miles on my vehicle and told me that is a lot of miles for a new vehicle and that is where my scratches came from. I told him I live in the country and work in Buffalo so yes I have miles from driving back and forth to work every day and that would not cause parallel buff lines with scratches that trail along both sides of my vehicle. The only thing my vehicle was squeezed through since I got it was those blue neoprene brushes that should've never been used in the first place because I wasn't supposed to be getting a basic wash. I paid for a super kiss plus plan. So therefore not only did they damage my car they were charging me for a super kiss plus plan and only giving me a basic wash all winter.

When they checked the dipstick before starting, Jordan said that my oil was much too clean to change at this time. Most places would have just changed me oil and not said a word. Matt checked my cabin air filter as long as I was there and it was super dirty so I had them change it since I was there. He also told me I probably had another 3,000 miles left on my current oil. Ayana was very helpful as well getting me checked out and she and Matt made sure I knew about the discounts available when I came back when I actually needed the work done. The honesty and professionalism I saw today is a reminder of why I keep coming back to Take 5 instead of the other "quick oil change" places in the area (of which there are plenty who will never compare!). Thank you so much for your honesty, knowledge and kindness. I'll see you in about 3,000 more miles or so!

Felt like I won a little lottery when the employee said "we eliminated the 10-minute detail, so you are upgraded to the *super* detailing". You are required to wear a mask, as is every single employee. As soon as I arrived, I was waved to a lane with sanitizing stations. Each customer is asked to bag all personal belongings, turn car vent to medium high and on recirculate mode, then roll all the window up. Staff then begins to sanitize & each vehicle parked on a conveyor belt, where two to three employees begin to thoroughly clean inside. Waiting area seemed clean, no frills, just a row of chairs along the wall near a window that enables you to watch them working on your vehicle. This location also has outdoor benches that are more than 6' away from each other, however one bench is much closer to the door, disabling adherence to the 6' away from one another. They took 20 minutes & fastidiously vacuumed up a lot of fur from this dog foster mom's back/trunk area where the dog crate is generally in place. Even removed & cleaned cup holder liners I didn't know my car had!

I work in the diesel industry so I know what makes a shop good and what makes a shop bad, and I definitely have high expectations for shops that I have to go to as a customer. The short version is that I cannot recommend them enough. In all aspects, my experience was fantastic. The long version is that I brought my truck in for some work that I've been neglecting to have done for awhile now. Before even starting the work, they did find a very big and urgent issue with my truck. I had budgeted for the work I wanted done with a little cushion because my truck is old and rusty so I wanted to be safe specifically in the event that they did find additional issues. That being said, the issue they found was much more than I was prepared for. (And yes, when Halie called to tell me about it, she did have pictures on the way to my phone so I could see it myself and confirm the issue.) Halie sent me a quote for everything I had wanted originally + the newfound work I needed, and she specifically quoted me the worst case scenario version so that way I knew what I could be getting into as opposed to her having to call me with more bad news every hour and pushing me past my budget when they were already halfway through the work which I appreciated a lot. They also did their best to do the work right while saving me money where they could, and as a result, my bill did end up coming in a few hundred less than the worst case scenario estimate which was fantastic news. I didn't get a chance to speak with the technician(s) that actually worked on my truck, but me and a mechanic friend of mine peeked at everything afterwards and it does look good! Halie, specifically, was the only one I got to speak to, and she was an absolute delight. Super friendly, on top of the whole preparing me for the worst while looking for the best ways to help me... I was very happy working with her. There was also a delay in the work that they couldn't have prevented, and Halie notified me immediately. So, all around, she's fantastic!! And, finally, I also got an oil change. I wasn't due for one yet but figured I'd get it done now while my truck was down for several days. I find that most shops, whether it's a quick-lube place or an actual repair shop, rush through oil changes. On one hand, I do understand that; they don't make money on the oil changes so it's best to get them in and out as quickly as possible. But I really value shops that pay attention to my truck. The big issue they had found and repaired was something they couldn't have missed if they were blindfolded, but they also took the time to top off my wiper fluid (that's such a small detail but I can't remember the last time I had the rest of my fluids topped off during an oil change service!) and I am about 90% sure they even lubed up my door hinges. This was incredibly long-winded but I just want to make it clear that this shop is fantastic to work with, and if you're looking for somewhere to get work done, this is definitely the place to go!!

I tried scheduling an appointment down the road at Pep Boys but they couldn't get the tires put on until the next day. Goodyear had the tires readily available but they were more expensive which is kind of a bummer considering their name is on the tire and the building. Regardless, I didn't want to wait any longer so I made an appointment here. The confirmation advised that it would take a couple hours to put them on. Got there half an hour early. Bill, who was very kind, advised that it would in fact take a couple hours. Kind of inconvenient because I know Pep Boys and other tire service places will put the shoes on right then and there and have you out within half an hour. But I went to Wegmans next door for lunch and shopping. By the time I was done my car was ready. Another bummer was not being told about the rebates Goodyear advertised on their website. Had I not made the appointment online I would've been out $100. At the end of the day this place serviced me in a quick and convenient fashion. And the tires are night and day VS the baldies I was riding on prior.

Acts as if my time is not valuable at all, no help with setting up a secondary appointment, nothing! Come to find out they didn't rotate my tires either. All of this is listed on the bill. So it looks as if it was done and used 1 alignment out of my six. This is fraud and completely unacceptable.
