Everything that I ever asked them to start carrying, they've been able to honor my requests. Last year, I asked them to start carrying Baby Magic products. Now they carry them but they are usually lie or like today, not stocked at all. But at least, they do carry it now. Requesting items is a service that many people are not aware of. If you have the benefit and the time, it's worth checking the commissary before going to other grocery stores since your items are tax free.

We went to the Syracuse WalMart auto department today at noon to have our car serviced for an oil…read morechange. We were told it would be about a 2-hour wait and we didn't mind since we had shopping that we needed to do. We returned to the auto department at 2 p.m. to check on the car. It was still sitting there waiting to be serviced. We asked how much longer, and we were told about another hour and a half. The manager approached us around 3:15 p.m. and asked what car we were waiting for, and we told him. He said because we had been waiting for almost 3.5 hours, the service would be on him. He expressed that the only way he could give us a free oil change was for us to pay for it first, and then he would reimburse us. Guess what? We didn't get a free oil change. We still had to pay for the labor. Needless to say, we were not too thrilled to have waited almost 4 hours and to be deceived by the manager. Don't tell someone the oil change is on them and that we wouldn't have to pay for anything. What also bothered us was that as we stood there waiting to pay, the manager was in the back silly, stringing the female workers. No wonder we had to wait so long. I hope no one else has to go through this and that the manager is held accountable for his actions.

I wanted to pay for gas at their kiosk station and the nasty young woman inside was in the phone. She finally acknowledged me after 3 minutes of standing there , as she seemed to be having a good time on the phone. She asked me " what do you want?" I wanted to pay for my gas with my card and she said you can pay at the pump and rolled her eyes. I have never experienced such bad customer service in this gas station . I was so mad I called corporate and felt compelled to write a review of this person that sent me to the pump. I also wanted to buy a beverage, but I was so enraged that I just walked away. I also called corporate in case this means nothing to that store management.

They had a ginormous chair we could take photos in, so we took full advantage of that :) This little store is chuck full of food and items made locally. They have produce, candy, ice cream, soda, beer, lotions, coffee, dog treats, decor and everything in between. In the back they have a vending machine where you can buy Bingham Custom Meats bacon bombs. We haven't used it yet, but it looks so awesome! The employee there was a rockstar! She helped us figure out our candy bouquets and made them look awesome! The kids absolutely loved them and I think we're going to need to do this again. The lovely lady tending us directed us to Z World Express. It took a couple of passes up and down Main street looking at both ends of the RV lot we were directed to look for before spying the brick building with red white and blue sign. Not much to see from the outside, no hint that groceries are there, but on inside, jackpot!! This place is packed floor to ceiling with tiny aisles you have to squeeze through. There is a nice representation of Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and some Indian selections. There are several chest freezers filled with a plethora of frozen seafood. The back wall is a bank of coolers with a nice selection of fresh veggies, Fresh Pho Noodles, and other tasy treats. I picked up Tom Yum soup base, Masaman Curry Paste, coconut cream, Thai Tea, instant Pho broth, Mabo Tofu sauce and a nice selection of snacks. Prices are actually a little less than what I am used to paying in Seattle, another nice bonus. The owners were very engaging and very helpful.
