Instead, the ring was forced off in a way that left visible damage to the front filter thread, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by bringing it to a camera shop. When I asked why the lens had not even received a basic external clean, the employee blew on it and said, "there." The new filter does screw on, but the visible damage to the thread area and the dismissive service were extremely disappointing. I would not bring delicate equipment here again.

I had gone to a place that uses a machine to develop and all my picture came out perfectly. It's annoying knowing that they just messed up during the developing process and ruined what probably would've been great pictures. Please retrain your staff because if I sent my wedding film to this place, they probably would've been ruined. I also spent less at the other place for perfect development.

When a server at our studio crashed and we lost data of that calendar, as you can imagine, our entire staff was near tears. This is hard work that raises funds for charities in N Texas and it was gone. At a last ditch attempt at grasping straws, we gave a call to Vickie at Pounds and asked if she by any chance had even one pdf on file, on her day off, she and her production manager dropped everything to find these files. After 3 days of searching, I got a voicemail from the one and only Vickie, letting us know she had ALL our files. This is the company you are doing business with. You are doing business with a staff with a heart of gold, with tireless care for their clients and with a total commitment to YOUR clients. It is this partnership and their commitment to insane quality that Pounds deserves all the stars.

Does pounds stand behind their work as they claim? They have yet to resolve the issue and refuse to refund my money in full.

I've asked for a refund since the reprints did not fix the problem. As of yet, I'm out a couple thousand $ for a heap of junk.

Jump forward to the first of October this year when I finally dropped that photo off. They were professional and helpful, working with me to get an estimate. Since our discussion included them telling me all work was done in house,I didn't ask about when it may be ready After a month I called and was told it's usually 6 weeks. Seems long but hey, the photo is 140 so...after 7 weeks I called and was told it was submitted and should be next week. After 2 months and $200 I picked up my photo. I did not shop other services for prices etc or length of time. This photo is important to me so I went with Photographique because of reviews. However,and I told them this up front,the first photo is a test run and I have 10 more. While I'm happy with the work,it seems expensive considering the photo was in good shape to begin with. Add in the 2 months time frame and I'm discouraged from taking in more restoration work. However,if you have a cherished photo,don't hesitate to... Go!

I came here for the first time while in Texas looking for a good quality camera at a reasonable price for my business. I was able to find a Canon AE 1, and it's been pretty good. The prices were reasonable but it was quite confusing it's like a garage sale for cameras. Overall the staff and owner were quite helpful and helped me find what I needed based on my skill level with cameras. read more

Todd is very helpful if you have film questions. Great guy to visit with about photography! The shop is a history lesson of film photography. Is worth a visit just to see the Great Wall of Film. You'll find film unavailable any where short of mail order. Go by & see Todd! read more

Full Color has been our vendor for printing portraits & artwork for over nine years. Our studio has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with Full Color over the years. With the H+H acquisition, their shipping practices, materials used, and ways of communication have all changed - without notice to any of their loyal customers. In the past week alone, every product that we have ordered has arrived damaged (even replacement orders) and completely unusable. Prints arrive bent down the middle, folded, or with torn edges. To date, no viable solution has been offered and our studio is being forced to refund its customers for mistakes made by the Full Color/H+H team. This is the first time in our company's history that we've ever had to do so. I would not recommend using this business as it's changed from a reliable, quality business to an unreliable, uncommunicative one overnight.
