Wow, these donuts are so yummy. Sim is the one who helped us pick our donuts out, and every single one was so good. My favorite has to be the glazed red velvet, but I seriously don't have any complaints. There is so much selection from OG plain donuts to specialty donuts. It's also a cute spot. I highly recommend. It's also very cheap for the quality donuts you get!! read more

Love their ube donut ube ice cream sandwich! I got it with fruity pebbles the first time around but it definitely would go best with coconut. Also got the crobar which is a croissant donut bar with strawberry ice cream and a side of toffee. What's nice is that from 7-9 pm is their happy hour so the donuts are buy one get one free. I really liked their sprinkalicious donut. There's no seating available so you will want to eat somewhere else or standing outside. read more

I'm pleased that Donut Factory is doing good business, as their donuts are quite good. However, it would be very helpful (and considerate) to alert patrons when they sell out of their donuts before closing time and be sure to provide this caution on the website and have an outgoing phone message with this information. They had none, and I traveled 55 minutes round-trip (after calling at 4:30PM) to buy donuts, only to find shortly after 5PM that they had sold out, the store was closed, the door was locked, and the shop was vacant. read more

I literally live across the street which I can't tell is good or bad...I will say however, this is one of the best donut places around. Always a large variety of donuts of all kinds to suit anyone's needs. COVID set up: GOOD! It's a small location, but social distancing and clean practices are in place! Staff is friendly and professional They sell delicious coffee AND ice cream donut sammys...you heard me. Favorites include: Apple or Blueberry fritters The Homer - strawberry frosting & sprinkles...mmmm Cronuts!! If you have never tried one of these, you have to at least once! I stopped by what used to be Ly's donut and found the donut factory instead! Turns out Mr. Ly is now enjoying retirement but his old location has changed hands to another donut place! The variety is definitely bigger than Ly's and the flavors are upgraded as well! I had the Crobar, sort of a riff on the famous cronut and a blurberry cake donut. The crobar was fantastic! Light with many flaky layers! Blueberry donut had a nice fresh blueberry flavor. Many more flavors to try like ube flavored one and the peanut butter cup one! read more

I'm so glad I don't have to drive to Lynwood anymore for these amazing donuts! It's a tiny place but at least it has free customer parking out front which makes it easy to grab and go. I recommend you call 2-3 days in advance and order the customer birthday letter donuts! They are perfect to help celebrate birthdays and make them special especially during this time of Covid. My favorites are the crunuts and the fancy donuts. Yum!!! I can't wait to go back here again. read more

We have gone here 2x in the past week. The donuts are great and we love the selection! The customer service is a bit off, though. Both times we went, the person had us pay, waited for the transaction to finish, and only then got our donuts? So there was this awkward period of waiting after we paid, where we were just standing there and thinking maybe the cashier forgot to get our things. And the second time we went, the cashier answered the phone after I paid and was talking to someone, so I was really just awkwardly standing there for about a minute, looking around to see if maybe she already put my order somewhere and I just missed it. Does this store have a problem with people not paying or something? Either way, grab the donuts while your customer is paying to make the process much more flawless and smooth. That's usually how pay-and-go establishments works.! read more

Oh emmm freaking gee!! The donuts here are absolutely amazing!! The variety of donuts offered is outside your typical and that's the best part! Even the traditional have a certain something about them that makes them better than other that I've tried so far! I'm impressed at this place and seeing it in person for the first time I feel like I don't get all the options when ordering online. So it's best to go in person and take it all in. I know these deserve prettier pictures but I didn't have time for all that. Listen - from the moment I walked in it was a nice atmosphere. First, the cashier was vibing to old school jams. I told him he has an old soul . I originally planned to try only two donuts but hey one additional didn't hurt! The Oreo cruller is delicious! It was probably my favorite. I usually don't eat crullers but this was airy and fluffy. The maple bacon cruller and bar are good too. I recommend trying them out if you're ever in u-village. read more

Ordered a scheduled delivery of custom donuts to be delivered this am to son at campus. Son waited outside for 30mins and no delivery. Called shop and they said no order received even though I have receipt and was charged over $60. No mention of trying to make right either. They just said new online order system and lots of kinks. I am out $60 and no mention of refund. Asked to speak with manager and haven't heard back. Person I spoke to on phone was really short with me. He said he was dealing with customers in shop so couldnt help me. I guess he didnt realize I was a customer too. Really disappointed as trying to support local business. To add, this is now the third strike. First two orders had issues too. Not as bad as this, but still annoying. read more

The customer service here is great and it's the only thing keeping me from giving Donut Factory one star. I've been trying this place since it opened and have bought donuts here 5-6 times and trying all kinds, but sadly, their donuts have been consistently poor and subpar. Cinnamon sugar cake donuts have been dry and sometimes stale, old-fashioned donuts are limp and barely fried enough, frosted donuts have been sickeningly sweet. The location is convenient for me as I visit the U-District a lot but after many disappointing orders, I'm not going back. Such a shame because the original one in Lynnwood is good and I had high hopes for this shop. read more

This humble donut shop near UW offer bold unique flavors that'll make you want to come again! The shop always has a variety of freshly baked donuts whenever you walk in. They have really racks of donuts in their display cases where you can see all their donut offerings that day. I'm a big cereal person, so my personal favorite is their fruity pebbles donut. This freshly baked donut has a white frosting and crispy fruit pebbles on top. It's definitely a must try! All Donut Factory donuts have a soft pillowy not-overly-sweet donut with fun toppings.I also recommend the Homer Simpson donut and the classic glazed (you can never go wrong with this one). read more

Small donut shop but LOTS of options! They have your regular donuts and then they have the fancy gourmet donut options as well. It's honestly a little overwhelming at first glance - but they have all the donuts you're looking for. Staff was OK - I felt super rushed. We ordered quite a bit so we wanted to make sure we had a good variety. If it's nearby you - then def worth a visit to satisfy your sweet tooth. But I wouldn't go out of your way for their donuts! The staff here are SO sweet. If you need a recommendation for their most popular or best tasting donuts, you'll get a great response! Something I really appreciated was the fact that they keep this donut shop open until 10pm, which means the donuts are always going! (Gotta keep those college kids nourished, ya know?) I called around 11am to ask whether they expected to have much inventory after I got off work (around 6pm), and I got a confident "absolutely!" in response. I was so pleased to find tons of options to choose from when I walked in the doors! The girl who helped me in the shop recommended the crobar (V GOOD), which warmed my heart and reminded me of San Francisco. I love the Donut Factory! I went to their soft opening of their Udistrict location, and while are still working kinks out, the donuts themselves were amazing!!! My favorite was the Bavarian chocolate stuffed donut, and blueberry cake donut. I tried Oreo, apple fritter, and maple and chocolate bars - and those were all good but not my favorites. The owners are really sweet and very welcoming. I look forward to being back since it's so close to work! read more

A great donut place, that delights with flavors that remind us that, just because top pot is the king of the hill, there are many other worthy hills, and Donut Family fulfills that need for the old-school-yeasty-drool-inducing-sugar covered delight. Yes you are going to be proud with yourself when you come here, because if you are the type that just needs a good solid donut... look no farther. I would give them 5 stars, but the old-fashioned glazed as a tad on the stale side, but that could also be the way they produce that particular donut. if anything, it's like the donut is crystallized with sugar, which is fantastic... at least for me, others may choose otherwise.. like my relatives who also tried this place. QUALITY: I'm not a donut pro, but they were tasty. Tried a crobar and a chocolate bar so far. They're kinda flat, not very raised inside, but still good. I have yet to try an ice cream donut sandwich! They're also doing cookie dough donut sandwiches with Sugar + Spoon cookie dough, which I've been meaning to try, too! I've tried one of their drinks so far. Cafe sua da, which is not the traditional Vietnamese ca phe sua da; they use four espresso shots rather than coffee from a Vietnamese drip filter. Still gets you that strong kick though. 4/5 SERVICE: Super friendly and quick. Well, unless you order a drink. When I ordered the cafe sua da, the wait for it was noticeable, but not super long; long enough that you want to take a seat. 4.5/5 INTERIOR: Clean and good amount of seating. 5/5 PRICES: Reasonable. Even better, you get 10% off if you have a Husky/ORCA/military card. 5/5 OVERALL: Love that they opened a location in the U-District so close to work! 5/5 read more

Donut worry, Donut Factory is here! I recently won an Instagram giveaway (S/O to @tinyhangrytiff) for a dozen donuts! I was really impressed with the customer service - the employee working was extremely patient as I couldn't make up my mind and made sure to arrange them nicely so I could take a picture! As a foodie photographer, I'm always appreciative for small gestures like this (lol). The donuts were all to die for. I loved the variety - matcha chocolate, blueberry cake, s'mores and fruity pebbles, just to name a few! I'll definitely be back to try their ube coconut. Hmm tough one. 4 stars I guess. A little on the pricey side. Good variety, but they didn't have all the types available. I was disappointed that they didn't have some that I had pre planned to get. I was visiting from out of town, so that was my only visit. Blueberry fritter was awesome!!! Probably my favorite of the 6 or 7 that I ordered. The bavarian cream filled buttermilk style donut was really good as well! If you are in the area, why not give them a try and stop in a get a doughtnut? What do you have to lose? read more

The donut letters were HUGE, and can be any flavors/fillings you want! It was so easy to order online w just 48 hrs lead time. The staff is also very friendly and upbeat! I really enjoy going to this donut shop! The staff there are super friendly and helpful. Service is quick. Sometimes parking isn't the best in their plaza so just a heads up! Once you enter the shop you can see there are a variety of flavors which I really appreciate. The quality is good too. At least for all the times I've visited, the donuts I got had a fresh element about it. I will say I wasn't a fan of the old fashioned type donut but that's just my personal preference. I say this because I wanted to try their ube donut so I bought it not knowing it was an old-fashioned type so when I took a bite it wasn't what I was expecting. If this is something that matters to you I would go ahead and double check with the staff about what type of donut you want to get. Anyways, I recently ordered custom donuts with them and I just want to share that experience. Each letter is a set price, $4 with no extra charge of picking multiple flavors which is awesome. $4 a pop seems pricey at first right?? BUT when I came in a couple days later those bad boys surpassed what I thought they would've been!! Instead of regular sized donuts they were actually GINORMOUS. For just one birthday boy to eat it was too much! We ended up sharing them with friends but it took a while to finish because the donuts were huge but they were delicious and worth it!! Anywayssss if you're looking for something different to celebrate an event I would definitely recommend buying custom donuts from here! I love the donuts here. They have a large variety, and I think the quality has been good. I feel the fritters have a good amount of fruit. I really like the flavor of the buttermilks and the fillings they have. I like the cream cheese frosting on different flavors of cake donuts. They have a nice beverage selection, and a donut and ice cream go well together. Yes, they have ice cream there, too. Glad that they decided to open a donut factory closer to the city. I've been to this location twice already!! (Perks of it being only a mile away from you) All of their donuts are absolutely amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly. Picked up two dozen assorted donuts for a staff meeting and everyone loved every last donut! I traditionally gravitate towards cake donuts, but I found myself gravitating to the "yeast" donuts - I loved the blueberry fritter, and The Homer. They both were light and airy, with a subtly elastic chew (that's a good thing). The only negative feedback I got from a maple and twist donut snob coworker was that they didn't seem as fresh as the rest of the donuts. Service was quick and friendly. Loved the early hours. Kinda stumbled into this place when I was going to go to subway. Decided to support the donut factory instead. (Great decision). Options are endless! They all looks so delicious so I asked the person behind the counter to help narrow it down for me, she was super friendly and we narrowed it down to the maple bar with bacon. That hit the spot. Not too sweet not too savory, great recommendation! Just grabbed a black coffee with it, nothing fancy, coffee was like a light roast and super smooth. I didn't have a go to donut shop before but now I do. Parking is free but shares it with a couple other businesses so i can see it get busy at times. read more

Listen, here's the deal with this place. The donuts are good. Plenty of options, you will most likely find something up your alley. However with that being said, they are not always fresh. I've yet to have a warm donut from this establishment(I arrive at 7AM) Now, let's get to the part that makes this a 2 star. I've paid as much as $9.90 for three donuts. Three. They charge an extra $1 for "fancy" donuts($2 for a donut is already steep) that are very often just a normal donut with different toppings. The issue is simple, anybody who frequents a good donut shop will often get hot, fresh donuts coming right off the baking sheet. For $2-3 a donut that is ALL you should be getting, and I have yet to have one. Unfortunately, we live in Seattle so the "everybody gets a trophy" mentality extends way too far into food reviews. This place is simply not a 5 star donut shop. Sorry. read more

Haven't had a doughnut in quite some time but these were so worth it. Came here for the $3 U-district food crawl and got red velvet and maple bar doughnuts. The maple doughnut was phenomenal and perfectly sweetened. The red velvet wasn't my favorite but it was still good. Apparently they make ice cream sandwiches with the many many doughnut options so I will definitely be back to check that out verrrry soon. Overall a solid U-district gem! read more

Every couple months or so I give this place another chance, but they don't know how to make a fritter! It's always a little undercooked. And a lack of those slightly caramelized crispy parts. I love a good fritter and I live in the neighborhood. I used to unnecessarily treat myself to one when this shop was Ly's. Excellent friendly service and donuts were fresh. We were surprised and happy that they had a few vegan donuts that we could try. All were really very good, only had the vegan ones so not able to review any of the regular ones, but there was a lot to choose from. read more

The donut factory is a great choice when you're around this area, their coffee isn't worth getting, I'd recommend get two donuts instead. Staff is friendly and variety is good. They have a standing tabletop but no where to sit. read more

We decided to drop by after eating lunch in the area for a sweet treat afterwards, then ended up picking up a whole dozen... Some notes for a couple that I tried: Maple Bar ($4.99) - Hmm.. The glaze is sweet and gives off a heavy maple fragrance, an indication they use real maple syrup in the glaze. Maple bars from other places are usually disgustingly sweet with basically no maple flavor - this one is sweet but more well balanced. I think the texture is definitely different from a typical yeast donut. I wonder if it's just because it more difficult to make vegan yeast donuts vs cake donuts? Find Daily Dozen on the top floor of the Economy Market building at the southernmost end of Pike Place proper. Push your way through the crowd watching fish-slingers to find the fast-moving line of donut-craving customers. As you wait, you will pass Daily Dozen's signature "donut robot" mechanical conveyor belt, plopping dough balls one-by-one into an oversized ceramic bowl. Staff members shake paper bags of piping hot donuts to the beat of classic rock. My fiancee and I visited Pike Place on a weekend, and Daily Dozen was on our hit list. After a 15-minute wait, we excitedly ordered a half-dozen Cinnamon Donuts and a single Maple Bacon Donut. The service was very sweet, and it's a great spot whether you're looking to catch up with friends or settle in and be productive. The matcha tasted high quality and was nicely balanced. I asked for it less sweet, and it came out exactly how I hoped. As someone who drinks a lot of matcha, I appreciated that it still allowed the flavor of the tea to shine through. Another thing I appreciated was how clean and comfortable the space felt. The bathrooms were well maintained, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and there were plenty of people working quietly around me. Overall, a great café for both getting work done and enjoying a quality drink.

Came in on a Friday night and learned that Old Stove Brewing gets busy for a reason! All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
