I love coming to this Donut Stop. Friendly service from folks that seem to enjoy working together on top of pillowy delicious donuts and pastry. My favorite of all is the Maple Crunch Cinnamon Roll. Dumb. I walk in and the donuts are eight feet away, tucked away from sight. I asked about how to see the donuts available and the gal says, "They're right there." So I kind of guess which ones they might have and got six, two of which weren't what I asked for. They don't care, take your crappy donuts and leave. One star because I like the donuts a lot. But, my word, are they ever open? I get the issue with staffing, but that's everywhere. When they are open they run out of everything. Finally, they just aren't very nice. All in all, if you can't reliably stay open, maybe you should shutter the place permanently. read more

I have always really enjoyed Donut Stop. It is a good place to get donuts for a large amount of people, and their donuts are always very good. The people there are always very welcoming and have good costumer service. It's a convenient place that doesn't usually take a long time to get service. I'd highly suggest trying it out. read more

I don't know what happened to this place but the service and quality of donut sure has declined. We used to be greeted with friendly smiling faces and good mornings. Now the people who take your order are rude and short with me. I thought it was just a bad experience but it has happened twice now. The recipe has changed for the donuts as well. I was looking forward to trying the donuts after reading about other locations around Amarillo - but this was the closest to me. Unfortunately, I thought the donuts were very oily and not very good. The overall cleanliness of the store itself was pretty bad also. The donuts were edible - but left my stomach feeling like there was a rock sitting in there. read more

The donuts are subpar, the service is bad, and you can't see the donuts. They just keep them on a rack so you're forced to speculate on what they have but then they seem annoyed when you ask if they have something. Not a good experience across the board.
