Pizza Margherita. Delicious, but needed more basil.

Another excellent lunch with my daughter at Doppio Zero in Campbell! The shrimp and calamari appetizer is just perfect. The calamari is so tender! It almost melts in your mouth. I don't know how they do that, but I've never had calamari that good. It's a must try! The nectarine salad is a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The mortadella pizza is good, but I wish there had been more mortadella, and a little less Burrata cheese. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service, and lovely outdoor ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Doppo Zero pizza was beyond delicious. Super soft dough topped with burrata cheese ,ribbons of prosciutto, arugula and freshly shaved parmesan was the most savory and balanced bite of comfort food. The sliced beef appetizer was probably my least favorite. Just not a dish that wowed me. It had a spread served with it that tasted like tuna. Not exactly sure how to describe it. Profiterol dessert - chocolatey richness and creamy bottom Porto - 10 years was very nice The service was good for the most part, but lacked the level of care that most high-end restaurant would offer. We ended up getting served by the bartender who was trying to close up and not concerned about attending to us once we got our drink and food. Kitchen closed at 10:30 which was about 30 minutes after we arrived. However, they accommodated us with dessert and port wine before we left. It was a pleasant late dinner..

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute, quiet, and quaint spot to have a first date or date nights period.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can pick pasta or pizza. Or both! I'm a pasta girlie. I had to their Fregola Del Pescatore. It was not too seafood. Perfect amount of seafood to match the amount of sauce and pasta. Always chew carefully when eating seafood! It's fantastic they offer a few vegan options! I must try their Ravioli Vegan next visit. Staff memebrs were excellent!

Ordered dinner for delivery from Doppio Zero last night. A Yelp friend had raved about the spinach ravioli, so I ordered that. I also ordered the Pera Pizza, knowing it would be too much food and I'd have tasty leftovers for the next day. The spinach ravioli was filled with wild mushrooms and ricotta and was nestled in a fondue truffle sauce. It was very rich, but quite delicious. The Pera Pizza was topped with slices of pears, mozzarella, goat cheese, bacon, and a little honey. It was also delicious, but could have used more pears. It was a flatbread pizza, and the bread was scrumptious. Overall, it was a nice dinner and I did indeed have plenty of leftovers. Next time I plan to order the Salad Pera that has nectarines on it.

Tried Doppio Zero for lunch on a Wednesday. We were a party of 5 and they got us immediately seated. We ordered Calzone and Salmone Griglia. They were really good. But the vegetarian dish with Eggplant wasn't as great. Last time I had their vegetarian Ravioli and that by far is the best choice out of all their vegetarian dishes. The service was quick too. Food was served within few minutes of placing the order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place also looked very kid friendly and had high chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I wanted to really love Doppio Zero but overall, it was just an average experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and indoor space is modern and chic. It was pretty spacious, as it's a corner lot, with extra seating outside for those that want some extra people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got seated right away and our pizzas came out quick. However, the service was lackluster. Our server didn't check on us once after bringing us drinks. We had to flag someone else down to get our check and to go box. The margarita pizza was good with its wood fired crust and just the right amount of cheese, but also it was a little soggy on the bottom. There's quite a lot of pizza options with different types of meat but not a ton of vegetarian options. I was wanting to try their vegan, but not a fan of eggplant and the menu noted "no modifications." I may give them another try at a different location and split some small plates and salads. Overall, it was fine, not great and certainly not worth the price ($19 for a 10 inch basic pizza.) I knew the prices going in, but was hoping for a better experience.

One of my favorite places for pizza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is cozy and lively[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], service is always attentive, and everything we ordered was delicious. The truffle fries, calamari, meatballs were great starters, the gnocchi was perfectly cooked, and the pizzas were fresh and flavorful,

A delicious meal in a beautiful setting. I visited on a Tuesday evening, and it was surprisingly busy. Since it was a weekday, I didn't think there'd be quite so many people, so I'm glad I made a reservation ahead of time. The atmosphere was inviting, with warm lighting and minimalistic decor. There was a pleasant chatter from the customers. My experience was overwhelmingly positive, but I will note the service was extremely slow. It took us probably 20 minutes to flag down a waiter, order, and get water. There was free bread, but we didn't get it until after our meal arrived, which was interesting. I don't think (or I'm hoping) this was an anomaly. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelmingly so. The food was superb. I've been to the MV location and really enjoyed the dishes I ordered, so I knew this would be a memorable meal. I highly recommend the Marechiaro, a squid ink pasta in a spicy tomato sauce with plentiful seafood. The sauce is so fragrant, and I love how the pasta has a bit of a bite to it. The noodles were perfectly al dente. The fettuccine wild boar was another standout dish. The braised boar was extremely tender and melted in my mouth. The housemade noodles were once again nicely al dente. I really enjoyed the Doppio Zero pizza. The freshness of the arugula contrasted against the creaminess of the burrata and the saltiness of the prosciutto. I did notice there wasn't much prosciutto on the pizza - a couple extra pieces would have enhanced the dish! The dessert was good but honestly a skip. The tiramisu and limoncello cake were fine but a pricey penny for a small portion. There are particular dishes I love at Doppio Zero (specifically the Marechiaro). This is a nice spot for a special occasion!

For whatever reason, Cambell location doesn't seem as busy as other locations. So we were tad bit skeptical, wondering if there is difference in food quality. Happy to say - nope. It is great. Servers are friendly. Setup is spacious enough. Only thing is they have smaller tables for three, which are actually only for two. So adjusting plates once food came was a circus. Next time, I will ask for a proper 4 people table. Pizza was really good. Gnochi was tasty too. Paired it with Italian Barbera. Out of whim, ordered truffle fries. They were think, crispy and delicious.

Went on a weekday for dinner. The place was pretty busy. The place has a good layout and the bar is nicely set up. Service was good and quick. They gave complimentary bread with a plate of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The wood fire stone pizza oven is impressive. We ordered one white porchetta pizza and one red carnivore pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The meat pizza was good and flavorful. The pizza crust is not soggy in the center but is weak since the pizza crust is thin. It had a crispy and little chew for the crust. The white pizza was ok other than the issue that the porchetta was very dry. Dipping it in the olive oil balsamic vinegar helped. For a pizza over $20 I expect the pizza to be on point. The place is priced on the high side so this isn't a place I would go to regularly but I would come back and try something else on the menu.

We were there on a weekend for my daughter's birthday , 6 of us . We got lucky but parking was difficult , crowded due to other businesses on the block. The restaraunt was full, we had reservations , did not have to wait. We had drinks and dinner. I ordered their eggplant parmesan it was just ok, my husband had the gnocchi and enjoyed his, others had pasta dishes, the pizza looked really good. If I go again I will order pizza. Service was excellent, the place was packed, high energy and high noise levels.

Was here for a work dinner and really loved how attentive the staff was to our party of 20+! This was a Friday evening, so although the restaurant was busy, we were very well taken care of. The spinich ravioli was so yummy and creamy. At first glance, the serving seemed a bit small but it was very filling and left me stuffed! The cocktail was very strong, but very yummy. Love how the pea flower goes from blue to pink upon mixing with acid (lemon). I really enjoyed the modern feel to this restaurant and will be returning on my own soon!

Popped in for a walk in table on a Friday night. Was able to get an outdoor table. Beet Appetizer great! 5/5 Cocktails Fancy York and Espresso Martini meh ~ 3/5 next time will do a wine Pera Pizza ok 3.5/5 but their other better options. Last time got a fig pizza that was amazing Seafood couscous dish loved it 5/5 Service was not bad but not good. Server was a bit his and more of an order taker than experience manager. First time there our server was amazing. Guided through menu with recommendation with pros and cons etc.... So this guy wasn't bad but wasn't what we got last time. Ambiance is a nice spot in downtown Campbell Def be back to try other dishes and likely during weekday for more attentive service

The restaurant has interesting decor and is not like most establishments of this nature as it is informal and is not in " the fine linen and white tablecloth " type of vein. No, the restaurant itself ( in a casual, rustic sort of way ) is very cozy and warm. inviting in a semi-formal way where you can relax to enjoy a fine meal and that is exactly what my family had. Our waiter was an affable fellow named Armando who is one of those servers that, as any good waiter does, is truly attentive to your whims and instinctively anticipates what you may want and he was perfect at his job. He served us water and a very food delicious basket of freshly baked bread ( which inadvertently set the tone for the meal to come because it was beyond excellent ) and named off the house specials, which were all mouth-watering at hearing them but it was the rib eye steak that caught my attention and that is what I ordered and also a ginger beer as well ( Fever Tree no doubt about it ). My family also ordered their food and then we waited for what what it seemed was an eternity for our meal to come. After about 40 minutes our meals came and they did not disappoint, from presentation to the flavor, taste and consistency of it all. I honestly don't remember eating my meal because it was done in 5 minutes... yes. it was that good and beyond delicious! I remember the steak was tender, juicy, grilled perfectly, the gravy was hearty and robust. the vegetables were cooked right ( fresh and tangy ) and the mashed potatoes were oh so fluffy and creamy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal to the fullest and I left no food on my plate. This was a meal that was pretty epic for what it was and I was throughly satisfied. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert to take home and I'm sure it will be as good as the meal I had at the restaurant. Trattoria 360 is a fine establishment that has earned its flowers and you should give them a try if you're looking for delicious Italian food that is a cut above!

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. Come hungry, leave happy!

Now I get why Sorelle has such a high score, and I'm happy that we finally gave it a try…read more It's situated in a small strip mall, parking is ok as we came at around 6:30pm on a week day night, there were still some spots available. Sorelle is a small restaurant, upon entering, it has a square room and you get to see everything at one glance. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

The food looked good, but my date and I didn't get a chance to try it. I live in the area and have always seen this place when going past. It looked cool and since it had such great yelp review, I thought tonight would be a good time to try it out. Just got out from a comedy show and we arrived at 9:10pm - it says they close at 10pm so we should be ok right? We only wanted to stop in, get a drink or two, and maybe 1-2 apps. After being greeted by the host, who was very nice, we told her that we just wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink and maybe a couple apps. She said "great!" with a big smile and led us there. While being led there I noted that the place had really cool decor and lighting, felt very cozy and italian. This is where it switched from a nice experience into a really quite bad one. As soon as we sat at the bar we felt unwelcome. There was a bartender there, middle-aged man with glasses and longish shaggy black hair that immediately gave us a "mean mug" type look. "That's strange..." I thought to myself. He did not greet us and seemed pre-occupied with closing the bar, wrapping up the beer spigots etc. The vibe was totally off, we are unwanted it seems. We sat there for maybe 1-2 minutes until he finally turned to us and said "Are you guys waiting for someone?" "We just want a menu" my date replied. "The restaurant is closed" he said, in quite a brusk and rude tone. I looked at my watch. It was 9:15pm. "But it says you guys close at 10pm, is that not the case?" I piped up. "No." he said, shaking his head. He turned his back to us. At this point I thought, lets go to a place that wants our money. I work with customers in my day job and would never be able to interact with a customer in the way he did. Honestly, if you're that way with customers I feel you're more suited to a warehouse job than you are working a bar. "We're not wanted here, lets leave" I said to my date. We got up and left. With people working like that working at their restaurant - save your money and go to some place else with good service. If the bar itself was closed, fine, offer us a table or something. Be nice about it. Instead we got quite rude (non)service. Again, the host was nice, keep her. But buyer beware - if you come during the last hour expect to be treated like you're unwanted garbage from unfriendly bartenders. Maybe update your hours if you "actually" close 50 minutes before it says you do?

The carbonara was amazing--served super hot with great flavor and a solid amount of meat. Easily a 10/10. One tip though: eat it while it's hot, because once it cools down, it's not quite the same. The seafood pasta was also a standout. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and it felt surprisingly light for a pasta dish. You know how pasta can sometimes feel heavy? This didn't have that at all. Another 10/10. The pesto pasta (a special that day) was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too oily, and the pesto flavor didn't really come through. They added ricotta, which kind of overpowered everything else. I did like the portion and the amount of meat, but overall I'd give it a 7/10. The ambiance was decent--nothing too special, but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. It felt like a family-run place--three brothers along with their wives and kids--and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even helped accommodate my mom by seating us closer to the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Just a heads up: it's in downtown Los Gatos, so parking can be a bit tricky since there's no private lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. The portions and quality justify the price, and it stands out as one of the better Italian spots in the Bay Area.

For my 300th review, I waited until I found a place 5 star worthy. I am beyond happy with our…read moreoverall dining experience at Be.Steak.A ! Celebrated my bf's birthday here on a Thursday night. I read great reviews about this place, specifically the steak, so took the gamble and booked reservations. It is a Michelin recognized restaurant so had high expectations and wow were they exceeded ! We were running late and so gave a call to see if we can still be accommodated which was no issue at all or rush. Upon arrival we were greeted with a happy birthday and welcomed with a delicious, homey, & warm chicken broth to start our visit. Hostess then guided us to our table and on the walk you see the candy table and the beautiful open kitchen. Ambience is fine dining meets modern day with beautiful shades of blue with just enough dim lighting to make it intimate for your table. Volume decent enough to have conversation. When we sat there was already a birthday card and my bf was very happy and excited. It included a bday card with staff signatures and a $2 bill - it was so cute! Our server was Aaron who was outstanding. He had great suggestions without being pushy and was very honest on recommendations. He listened to our requests and guided us with a delicious meal based on our preferences. We also were not rushed during the whole dining experience - the timing between getting orders and checking in was perfect. We had enough time to finish each meal without scarfing ourselves or crowding our table with other food. & there was never a wait for service. This we really appreciated and found unique to our dining experience. Staff also were quick to provide refills. To the food ! We were given complimentary vegetable crudite - seasonal fresh cooled veggies and a flavor bomb of a dip ! Cream cheese, white miso, garlic, & other stuff. Who would've thought simple veggies can be yummy. Next our drinks came in and we had time to sip and look at the menu. Delicious schramsberg wine which is now my fave and apparently can get bottomless during their brunch buffett ! We ordered the trio of bread, all of which were delicious, but wow the rolls ! Soft, warm & fluffy. Then got the ravioli verde, ribeye, & pork fried rice. Originally wasn't going to get the fried rice but Aaron recommended it and I am so glad he did. I could've just ate that for my meal and been satisfied. It was savory, crispy & very flavorful. Italian American meets Asian flavors without being overwhelming. The ribeye medium rare cooked to perfection and perfectly paired with the "funky onions" & demi. We had everything on the side. Steak was a good quality and tasty steak, but with the onions and demi that's where it shined and separated itself from other high quality steaks. It was delicious with the rice. Ravioli was tasty as a pre-meal and glad I swapped to it bc we did order pretty heavy. Prob one of the best steaks we had. And we are steak eaters ! My bf tied it with his #1 steakhouse. Overall all the food was more than enough for the two of us to share. Then ofc ended our night with the table flambé sticky toffee pudding which was immaculate! I will say the caramel was either over cooked or too much alcohol bc there was a bitter taste towards the end. But the dulce de leche ice cream helped balance the bitterness. We also got a complimentary s'mores ice cream cake for the bday ! It was yummy, but too sweet with the marshmallow but again the chocolate and cherries created balance. 5/5 star review I am so looking forward to dining again. I definitely believe that they deserve a Michelin star if that's what they are aiming for. We do plan to try out their brunch buffet one day. Shout out to the whole staff for making this a memorable experience and a 10/10 birthday celebration! We will be back !

Where do I even begin to start about brunch at Be.Steak.A. This is indeed a special dining…read moreexperience. My bestie and I came here for their all you can eat buffet brunch on Mother's Day. We started out with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sparkling cider while we waited to be seated. There was a little delay in getting our table, but it wasn't really a problem because we were chatting and enjoying the drinks. Before we entered, they had a floral photo wall where we took a photo together to memorialize the experience. And when we sat at the table, they had placed a lovely Mother's Day card on the table signed by the staff. The decor at Be.Steak.A is modern and feels very upscale. I think the bathrooms say a lot about a restaurant's attention to detail, and the bathrooms at Be.Steak.A were elevated - essential oil infused salt scrub to wash your hands, bidets, etc. The brunch buffet is just as described - hot items and pastries in the kitchen (so cool), a caviar bar outside, a separate station for cold seafood, another station for fruit and charcuterie, and then assorted desserts on the bar. The food was excellent. We started with the caviar -- the options and accouterments were plentiful and delicious. The caviar bar was so fun and felt luxurious. This was one of the highlights of the whole experience for me. For the other seafood, we enjoyed oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and other little seafood dishes, which unfortunately weren't labeled, so we didn't always know what we were eating. My friend had some dietary restrictions she was concerned about, so that was a little frustrating for her. But my favorite bite of the entire day was one of those unmarked seafood dishes- I wish I could tell you what it was -I think it was possibly squid. But it was so fresh and flavorful. Yum! The hot food in the kitchen was a neat experience. They had skewers and prime rib and many other dishes to choose from. I kept coming back to the seafood skewers. We were a little bummed that the beef Wellington was just gone when we entered the kitchen. There was still about another hour and a half of brunch service left so that was a disappointment for us. They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. This was an incredible dining experience. I'd highly recommend this brunch buffet experience for special occasions. I'm looking forward to dining here for dinner in the not so distant future!
