Maintenance is very attentive and together the two act as a responsive team when the need should arise for it. When I moved in rent was $507 for like 2 months then it went to $516 and then finally $531. My only complaint is the management company tends to raise the rates every year but for a 2 bedroom unit with all utilities but electric being taken care of by the company, it's not a bad price. I moved back to NY for work, but I will miss my time in the community. I got to be friendly with some of my neighbors and they with me and my family. It's a community filled mostly with hard working people just trying to live life. You do have some troublemakers around but nothing serious ever happened in the 2 years I was a tenant. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to live, give Franklin South a try.

No my light bills was already almost $200 and the people was leaking windows and outlets. The hot water heater was bad, stove burner didn't work, freezer kept frosting over my food even ice, the neighbor knocked stuff off the wall ruining $100's of my brand new stuff and a photo of my parents the only one I had, they've both passed so I can never replace that. As well as knocking the vents on the ceiling down. You hear everything from all the apartments, but the manager is so distrustful that she won't believe a thing you say and she spy's on people puts hunting cameras by the doors going into building. I wouldn't recommend living there if you want any peace and quiet or warm apartment

DONT LIVE HERE!…read more Spent a month living here and got out of dodge ASAP. First the management office is REALLY SHADY. This is what happened to us. We were looking for a apartment that took our dog ( Pit Bull ). She told us that they can. We showed photos which she approved of and gave us the thumbs up. We signed the lease and paid the rent and security deposit. 2 weeks into living there problems started. #1. Coming home one day I parked my car and as I was about to get out this neighbor of ours opens up her window and starts chewing me out... telling me thats not my spot. I told her thats the one they said was mine. She started cursing and even called me cracker LOL. Ok. I started parking in guest parking. #2. I wanted to go over my car one day, so I opened up the hood and started checking systems. The maintenance man comes by says you can't work on your car. I asked him why and he said its their policy that no work can be done to a car. Cant even look under the hood. Only thing they allow is battery jump. They never told us this when signing the lease. Had I known I would of not signed. #3. THE SMELL!!!!!! I CANT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW BAD THIS SMELL IS. Try taking 4 month old Sweaty dirty socks, wet them some more, and put it over your nose... Thats basically the smell. Every night it fills the whole apartment complex and it STINKS! We have to shut off the AC/Heat and close all the windows. Hoping it will keep it out. #4. Dog. And this leads me to the reason we left. We got a notice on our door a month in that we have a unauthorized dog in our house. I asked the management what they were talking about she saw a photo. She said she didn't know it was a pitt bull. Really?!!! So I told her you saw the photo, asked if she's friendly and gave us approval. Now your changing your decision AFTER we moved in. She said we had to get rid of the dog. You can Imagine we were upset. So me and my wife said we were unhappy with this complex and left. #5. CRIMINALS. We left and gave the keys back. Months later we get a letter saying we owe them $500 for damages. DAMAGES!? What damages. They said there was a dog smell in the apartment. LOL! They also said they needed to install a new carpet and charged us for it. These people are crooks. I STRONGELY RECOMMEND NOT LIVING HERE.

Maintenance is a joke. They are a joke. How does Section 8 come in for your apartment inspection, leave with a list of repairs, and here we are a year later with the same repair list.... How does a Government agency pay for rental assistance but doesn't get the repairs... The Seniors are stuck and afraid to use their voices. So, they're trapped in mediocrity....
