I was treated by Dr. Glass a few months ago for it with acupuncture and the next day I was symptom free. It was amazing but I had my doubts about why. Last Thursday, 6/23/2016, I has sever pain from the disease so I had Dr. Glass do another treatment of acupuncture. Friday I was completely pain free and am still as of today. I was briefly greeted and handed papers to sign with no clarification about any of the processes that will be occurring. Once they brought me to the back room, I was not given a verbal consultation but directed to the table to lay face down. Without any verbal communication the Dr. starts applying the ultrasound to my problem area. Since it didn't hurt, I didn't mention anything. Continuing on, the Dr. starts to apply other techniques/instruments to my problem area without communication or approval from me. As the patient, I should not have to ask the Dr. what you are currently doing to my body. The Dr. then applies a vibrating machine against my problem area, which really hurts. I explained to the Dr. that it made me very uncomfortable with the pain. I was told, "You might be sore for the next 48hrs, if it still continues to hurt; we'll either not do that machine or turn it down" I've been sore for the last week... On my third appointment with this establishment, I mentioned to the Dr. that my back gave out a day prior and that I was sore. We start the appointment, everything was fine until the Dr. grabbed for the vibration tool and I politely asked him not to use it on my back. The Dr. decided otherwise and applied the vibration tool to my back, and then I mentioned louder to "please stop." The Dr. mentions, "you don't want the machine at all?" I mentioned, "please not at all." The Dr. then proceeded to move to the next tool to finish up the appointment. To my disbelief, before leaving the room. The Dr. decided to lecture me, that it's either his way of treatment for the next appointments or if I want my own catered chiropractic care that I need to go elsewhere.
