In Denmark, the stores for large women like me tend to think that we want to wear frills and large flowers which I definitely DON'T, so I love my stuff from Bonmarché. Will actually be going to Reading in a few days, and can't wait to visit Bonmarché there! I agree with other reviews here on QYPE - the clothes are generally for the more mature woman (I'm 51) - and a lot of it I didn't like. But that's the kind of shop I like - something for everyone! Their clothes are beautiful but not every ones taste, and certainly expensive. Some are ethnic and some are luxurious, but all are very good quality. Some brands were local, and others were non-local. I am from the U.S., and some stores and restaurants here are also in the U.S. Therefore, I felt most interested in the non-US brands such as Marks & Spencer. This mall is also supposed to have ice skating, bowling, and movies, although I did not participate in those activities.

Glad to see 15 years later, this mall is still kicking, and they have really built up this area a lot more. They still have a nice mix of stores, although some of their kiosks are gone, like their Whittard's kiosk. The food court wasn't bad, although I did notice a couple places were empty. There is still wifi, although that's less of an issue now. And they still have the M&S, thankfully. If you're going on a cruise, and have some time to kill, I think this mall is a great stop, especially considering there are other things in the area too if you get bored with the mall. There is another mall in the area, but that one is a little more empty, whereas West Quay still seems to have a crowd.
