My partner and I have rented equipment 3-5 times and I know to pick up after 3:pm. I reserved equipment this morning and spoke with Jason and I understood it's alright to pick it up but when I got there approx 1:00pm the woman wouldn't shut up about not suppose to get equipment until after 3:pm. I told her I was aware of that but Jason knew I was coming early but she still wouldn't shut up. She did offer to let me get the equipment but by this time I was done. Double P may have lost a day's rental but my loss can't be measured for I needed to complete my water line and electrical line ditch but now have to make other arrangements. I rented a skid loader from the on a Friday Morning at 9am. They told me that they would pic it up come Monday morning. I took my time and did the job little by little. Well they went and picked up the unit on Sunday. I called them to speak to them. They said that they couldn't help me since I exceeded my day rental. I told them that any other place will let you keep it till Monday as long as you keep it under 8 hours. I lost the job and the money for that rental. Never again will I rent from this place. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had renting equipment. The trailer the equipment came on was falling apart. The keyed ignition switch didn't work. I was told that I had to bring it back full of fuel, but when I got it home and off the trailer it ran out of gas. When I called Double P Rental & Sales to complain they acted like they did not care at all. There are plenty of other companies to rent from. I highly suggest you pick ANYONE but Double P. read more
