When I articulated my concerns regarding the lack of support, the attorney responded with aggression. This firm's conduct left me feeling isolated, unprotected, victimized, and entirely vulnerable. I strongly advise against entrusting your legal matters to this firm. They are prepared to accept your financial resources but do not anticipate receiving protection, counsel, or compassionate treatment; they demonstrate NO concern for your circumstances. I would rate them -0 if this was an option. Be sure if you can't pay the full amount to look elsewhere. We had issues with a family member who was listed on parents will as personal representative to follow it through and never has. We paid $500 and had one lawyer contact the PR once. I kept calling to get help and was told another lawyer was working on it. I gave a one star review and that made the main lawyer call me. He said he would get his guy on it. But after that nothing more. We called back after a couple of weeks and got the runaround. They never returned the call. Also called Probate Court and was told nothing was even filed. My husband has not gotten any resolve from the whole thing. A member of the law office called us to say they were closing the case. I told her my husband's brother ( PR) sold the house and we haven't heard anything. She told me that the lawyers would be told that. They never called us back. read more

Was assigned a grossly negligent and incompetent sub attorney who completely assisted the other opposing jackass by not opposing at all his motions in limony which were illegal to put in limony to wit & DID NOT accomplish one single goal for which he was retained and was demanded 10k the day before trial which seemed highly improper and unethical. Allowed blatent provable perjury at trial without REQUIRED OPPOSITION.!! And DID NOT SUBMIT WHEN ASK MULTIPLE TIMES ACCOUNTING OF PROBATE TO THE COURT REVIEW!! i don't even know where to start.my mother passed away she had a large sun of money properties and so fourth there was a family trust set up by my mom and my step dad. but one month after my mom passed away i was suddenly not in the trust anymore so i got in touch with Doug newborn to help me with this case he told me 12k he would do the case i didn't have all the money but i was able to pay half down 6k. my step dad has partisans and is in bad shape and can not make decisions on his own yet all this had happened one month after mom passed away he told me we needed to get right on this before my step dad passed away so ok he said it would take about 6 month to have results so i waited and waited 6 month 7 month 12 month and had not heard a word so i reached out in concern and he tells me he transferred the case to somebody else and give me the number to the guy i call him and he really didn't know what i was talking about but said he would get right on it well one year later he still hadn't done anything by this time I'm upset and let them know my feelings so finally a court date was set but in the mean time i call and no body answers so i left message and i get an email that this dude just up and walk out and was no longer working there so now I'm really upset then Doug he is like what case is this can you fill me in on it i was like really he said oh the other attorney filed it wrong i could not believe what i was herring. so 2 days before court date i get a message from Doug telling me the case is over and he is not representing me any more. and that was the last he would talk to me so to sum this up i would never ever take any case to this firm its ridicules. he never give me any money back would not return email nothing THANK YOU FOR TAKING WHAT MONEY I HAD DOUG AND DID NOTHING FOR ME YOUR FIRM IS TRASH AND SO ARE YOU FOR THE WAY YOU DID NOT REPRESENT ME read more

I first sought out the services of Mr. Newborn's firm in January of 2024. My case was passed to one of the associates. I consistently felt as if my case matter was unimportant (and maybe it is in the larger scheme of things, but it's important to me). I also had to ask the same questions repeatedly via email because getting a response wasn't always easy or timely (I'm hard of hearing and often miss important information on the phone). When I was told that the firm had fulfilled their obligation, I was left feeling "dropped/abandoned". However, my case remains unresolved. Never was I asked if I wanted or needed additional services, which I did and do. Even though it pains me to have to find another attorney, I'm glad it won't be with this firm. Perhaps there are other associates with better social skills than the one I dealt with. If so, I wish I had worked with them instead. Perhaps my opinion of the firm would have been different. Unfortunately My review is not as I had hoped when first hiring the team. In the beginning the firm was friendly and attentive however, once payment was given correspondence declined. I was quoted the case to be simple and straight forward. Things in this field of work can easily change however it took this firm over a year and failed to even close the case. We ended up seeking help through the trust fund attorney. I was working with Rene Baca who did not follow through on many of his obligations. I found out that he is not a licensed attorney but with a new mandate was able to work under Doug's license. Doug Newborn was always appropriate but handled higher end cases. I got in touch with the firm early of 2021after my elderly Aunt had passed away. I was hoping to work with Doug Newborn but was giving a very nice gentleman Jared Keating. I was glad to work with a local lawyer and not have to deal with a Phoenix Lawyer 123 miles away. At first seems thing to go well, but as time progressed. I was the person that kept emailing and calling for answers to questions that I needed. I would be waiting for weeks, until finally received a response with the excuse he was very busy, he was apologetic. Once when I called in I asked the receptionist of how many layers worked in the office and was just told Doug and Jared. This was my first time dealing as a Trustee, it was very frustration. The Beneficiary to the trust was in England which the law firm knew, paper work had to be mailed and received back to the USA. However I had to work on my own to get the correct information so that mistakes where not made. Also at no time was a given information that I had to work with an Trust Accountant. Adding to the all money that I had give the Doug Newborn Law Firm, an extra $1800.00 was added which the trust paid. But it would have been nice to have this explained up front. read more

I had a horrible experience with a the most bizarre landlords when we rented a guest house on their "ranch". While I was away, they started to harass my adult son and threatening eviction when we had paid the rent. I called Doug early one morning and he answered and got things moving before I flew back to Tucson. He also gave me advice afterwards when I had to sue the crazy landlords to get the deposit back.
