It was pretty empty when we went. The server was very friendly and even brought us a sample of an unreleased drink that we enjoyed! The food was delicious and hot, I especially enjoyed the potstickers. I would love to return and try the wontons and soup dumplings! Cute and tasty!

Came to meet friends for an early dinner before a movie and it was great. It wasn't busy at all, the place was clean, the service was really great, and the food - every single dish - was delicious. The XLB dumplings were the best. Really nice texture wrapper - not too thick, and the filling was flavorful. The cucumber was beautifully presented and tasted great. Not a complaint to be had about this experience.

First time at the clackamas location, nice big menus and i always get the boiled chicken spicy wontons and chicken xiao long bao

Didn't realize they had a location in clacamas. Food was good. Prices seem lower than I remember compared to the downtown location. Their cucumbers which is one of my favorite dishes was not what I remembered- oily and bland and not tangy as I remembered

I've been to this location three times now, all on a Sunday afternoon/evening with plenty of open tables. Inside is very spacious with lots of natural lighting. At one visit, the workers were very helpful and informed us of the 20% automatic gratuity involved when we came with a big party and added more people in addition to double checking with us the amount of food as there were multiple people attempting to place orders. The service was unfortunately lacking at our last visit when they only checked in on us when we were practically finished eating (not sure if it was intentional or not). The dan dan noodles are my favorite. When I'm in the mood for soup I get the spicy (ma la) noodles, which taste like the dan dan but with broth. I also really like the kale salad with sesame dressing. The pork & crab xlb came out hot and juicy, my boyfriend noted an improvement in taste from our other visits! The chive dumplings are huge but I've had better elsewhere. The pork wontons in chili sauce are very disappointing, especially if you've had the ones from Din Tai Fung. I've had it at every visit and it is the same each time -- small, mostly dough and barely any pork. Although some portions are small, prices are reasonable and satisfactory for a snack.

The service is always very quick when I stop by without a reservation. This is located outside of Clackamas mall so there is lots of parking available. Inside isn't as pretty as the original location, but it is very spacious with many tables. Their menu is straight forward and easy for those who have never been in before. I think the food is solid for the price point. I wish there were more variety but for the price, I am never disappointed. Everything always comes out hot right as it finishes cooking.

this was my first time at this location, second time at dough zone. it's nice to have one in the mall! the portion sizes are pretty small so we ended up getting 3 more dishes. the service was pretty quick and everyone was very polite. there's tons of seating and no wait at all. we ate at 5pm and only a third of the restaurant was full. the pork xlb was my favorite. the skin doesn't tear easily so it doesn't get stuck to the basket and the flavors were flavoring. i found the rice and noodles to be pretty bland and i wish they had meat and vegetable. i usually like to order a veggie on the side, but they only serve salad style vegetables which is a bummer because i wasn't in the mood for any of those. the wontons were pretty good too but i expected the sauce to be a little spicier? we also ordered beef pies which took super long to come out (the worked warned us though, so we expected it. that wasn't an issue with us) but when we got them they ended up being not good so the wait was not worth it i would def come back here for the xlb tho!

Whoa. I'm impressed. The location that used to be a CPK is now a source for excellent dumplings! The interior space is enormous and the entrance can be a little awkward to find (look for the revolving door) but the food is really good. We weren't expecting much from a chain at the mall and were really pleasant surprised. Promptly greeted by a series of friendly employees who were able to locate which items on the menu are vegan, the server even checked in the back on ingredients for the green onion pancakes and then starred each item on the paper ordering menu that we could eat. Sadly no bao or soup dumplings without meat, but the steamed dumplings and potstickers were delicious. Thick hearty dough and a super tasty filling. Huge interior with tons of seating. Reusable chopsticks (yay!) though a little bummed that the drink came in a single use plastic cup. I'll be back!!

First time here and I was impressed! The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, and the waitresses were attentive. We ordered the spicy noodles, which had a perfectly balanced savory heat and were cooked just right. The potstickers and soup dumplings were also delicious, plenty of filling and great flavor. The chicken soup was a bit plain for my taste, but everything else made up for it. Overall, a great experience, and I'll definitely be back for more!

Hot and fresh !! The wonton hot chili sauce must sample. The Roman salad with sesame dressing was simple yet bursting with flavor we couldn't get enough. We shared 5 items that was plenty . Busy about a 10 minute wait. Friendly and helpful . Clean open somewhat noisy. We will definitely be back .

The food wasn't bad just not spicy like we wanted. We also got a side of beef dumplings. Those were pretty good. We also got the chai milk tea, which was really good!! The only reason why I'm giving it a three is because the service was lacking a bit of organization we did get seated fast however our servers kept changing and they looked a little confused. We also received our check before we got our last entrée so it felt a bit rushed.

I am vegetarian and can sometimes have a hard time finding options on the menu. Dough Zone was completely different, there was a wide range of vegetarian options offered and all of them delicious. The service was quick and friendly which is much appreciated. Ambiance is great but the real reason to check this place out is the amazing dumplings--the sweet and sour cucumber was so delicious too, I've been craving it ever since.

I wish I took more pics of all the food we ordered but I scarfed everything down too quickly lol we were craving dumplings and was grateful this was close to where we are staying. Overall, food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. I was very grateful the waitress shared the customer faves and she was on point. The cucumbers were my favorite aside from the main entrees. Will definitely swing by when we are back in town again!

Anyone looking for hand-pulled noodles: as of May 2025, you will not find them here. They apparently stopped serving them. May return for: Beef In Chili Sauce (cold) - I love this dish and have had it at many other places. Chili oil was delicious; onions and cilantro went well with the thin slices of beef. Would not return for: anything else. Taiwan Beef Brisket Tomato Noodle soup - it was bland broth, unfortunately. Uncooked spinach and tomatoes added on top, very little flavor. Brisket was not very soft. Mongolian Beef Chow Mein - there was a puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, which I would not expect for chow mein. Definitely not cooked in a wok (or done very poorly). Handmade spicy pork wontons - also not flavorful. If they used the chili oil on the Beef in Chili dish, this might taste better. But the filling would something to be desired.

"Let me know if you have any questions!". We had questions about her menu items, and she answered them nicely and thoroughly, in detail. Okay, so we order two things: the S3 and the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and here's what U think about each: Tonkotsu Ramen: -The Meat doesn't have a huge initial, impactful taste, but the flavor settles in a couple seconds after you bite it and it's a very soft, warming feeling. -The Broth is where the spice is, and it's not like "oh my mouth is on fire" it's the type of spice that hits you in the back of the throat, so it's bearable but I couldn't chug it personally, I had to take sips which is nice for someone who devours their food like there's no tomorrow (like me). -The Noodles are.. just your typical Ramen noodles, nothing special to add there but nothing bad to say at all! -The Egg, although not marinated in soy sauce like some places do, was cooked well. The inside was soft and gooey, but the white was fully cooked. I have no complaints! -The Mushrooms added a nice texture to the noodles and the overall dish, and worked to make it even more satisfactory. The S3: -I don't have much to say because my cousin ordered it and I only had a few bites, but the veggies were cooked nicely... -The big boom about it was the noodles. If I had to describe it, I would say it's like.. an Orange Chicken type of Tater Tot, it was really unique and fun to eat. Next time I go, it'll be hard to decide what to order.. Okay, don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself! いただきます!
