I was referred to Doug's Auto Body by a friend after I accidentally dinged my bumper and pushed my headlight back. Scott helped me, and he was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He gave me a detailed estimate in case I decided to fully repair the bumper, but he also walked me over to the garage and asked a technician if they could pop the bumper and headlight back into place--just to see if it would be good enough for now. And they did--free of charge! The damage was minimal, and I was more than happy with the fix they provided that day. I couldn't be happier with Doug and his fast, fair service and good work. I'd backed into a tree and was recommended by my friend, the tree owner, to call Doug. From a photo he identified parts needed and said to come in the next work day. 20 hours later the car was ready for pickup. I'd priced the parts online and those were the prices charged, no markup. A tail light, rear spoiler and glass. A bit of metal repair in the lift-gate jamb was also needed. A little buffing took care of the bumper. This place was great! I noticed unexpectedly while driving on the freeway that something was dragging underneath my car and decided to pull over. I realized clips had come off the plastic cover underneath my car. I don't live in the area, so I searched for a nearby auto body shop and came across Doug's! Doug painted a small portion of my BMW and he did a great job. The paint was match (just as you'd expect) but there was no over-spray, pits, bumps (like you'd get from dirt spots). Everything on my car is perfect again, which is saying something given it's a black car. They came highly recommended from Hilltop Automotive in PV, both places have owners that are easy to work with. (Though I've never gone to Hilltop for repairs.) Pricing was lower than expected which scared me a little at first, but amazing after I saw the results. I would highly recommend them. read more

After picking up my 1967 chevy from Doug's body shop, I notice my head lights weren't coming on. Also, the wheels were rubbing on the fenders when turning car. I call the owner about my the problems and he responded that I can't expect an old car to work properly. Everything was working properly before the accident and he did the changing of the total front end of the car (fender etc.). I did a simple cleaning of the connections for the head lights and the lights work again. These light connector were sitting outside exposed to the elements for over a month. The fenders rubbing on the wheels still haven't been fixed yet. Doug's Auto Body doesn't seem to be doing business for the customer to achieve a quality job and doesn't back up heir workmanship. I will never use them again. And good luck to anyone else using Doug's body shop. read more
