Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, Value I went for a spiral came out with a body wave ,they were completely not prepared for my perm and was forced to use other rod's as well that only gave a body wave ,not the same as the spiral I came for. Its already falling out and has not completely relaxed yet.. my price went up as my visit went on had add 17.00 for the trim after the perm.also area unclean and the other girl and I were freezing no heat near exit door I freezing whole time and not even a partial refund The difference between a spiral wrap and the standard perm wrapping method (called the croquignole method) is found primarily in the resulting curls. ... Cool small shop. I found them on Google and heard about them from a friend of a friend. Glad I went there! It's really small. I think there were about 4 or 5 chairs total. The girls are very friendly and are very good at what they do. I don't really get much service with my cellphone out there which is a bummer when you are waiting but otherwise it's all gravy. I went to apply for a job here. I brought my male model on the day of my interview to show my skills. I owned my own barber shop for 3 years so I know what I'm doing. Half way through my fade he takes over my haircut trying to teach me things and used his metal clippers which cut way closer than my plastic guards so the cut ended up being half longer which I couldn't fix because anyone knows plastic guards can't get as short as metal ones. I spent the rest of the time trying to fix it but it was impossible so it made my cut look horrible. In the three years I owned my own shop I did many interviews where I made the barbers cut hair in front of me so I could see their skill level. NEVER ever did I ever take over any of their hair cuts half way through and do it myself. That just ruins what they are doing and how can he truly see my skill level if he doesn't allow me to do the entire cut from beginning to end?? I was so upset because the cut looked horrible because it was half my work and half his work and we did different techniques. He asked me questions like if I'm married and for how long because the girls there wouldn't want me around their husbands if I haven't been married for a long time. He told me the girls were going to tear me apart etc. First of all... I'm from a big HUGE city and am tougher than all the girls who work there put together, second of all I'm pretty sure asking me about my marital status during an interview is illegal last I checked. This place is a joke. I was told he would put me on the schedule to try me out and I never went back. I was asked about 6 months later if I wanted to work there because they needed people... No thanks!! I would never work at a shop where the owner is going to take over my hair cuts half way through hacking them up. read more
