I realize it's not lambert anymore, but don't call these people (all tech). THIS IS NOT ON…read moreLAMBERT, it's on this new company that bought them, but they aren't listed for Altus. We called Saturday morning when our ac quit, made an appointment for them to be here between 8am and 1pm, it is now 5 pm and just now showing up. Called them at noon, they said they would be here, then they called us at 1 and said they had an emergency with a tech this morning, and they were running behind. They didn't say that at noon when we called, nor did they call when the emergency occurred. We have literally been in a 90 degree house since Saturday . Very unprofessional in my opinion. Lambert would've never done this. No communication , show up late, we won't call them again and we will let the landlord know. Now if they can fix it..not fixed, kept trying to upsell more parts. Wasted time, it was over 90 in this house all weekend, we just went in and bought window units. Awful experience

Long post but bear with me, this is a warning for anyone needing HVAC services. I strongly…read morerecommend staying away from Lambert now that they have been bought out by AllTech. I will say that we truly loved the original Lambert, so much that we had a membership with them. However, we have now had two experiences under the new ownership and both have been completely awful. The first experience was in February. One of our units was making a loud noise so we had AllTech (Lambert) out to take a look at it. We were told we needed over $600 in repairs. We paid it under the impression it would fix the noise our unit was making. After he left I walked outside and it was still making the same noise. I called them back and asked for a different technician, he came and nothing they had replaced was even relevant to the issue. However, they made right by it and fixed it and ate the cost. Despite us paying slightly more than what we would have had they done it correctly the first time, we were satisfied as it was fixed and they were very apologetic. The next experience happened two days ago, they came out for the twice-a-year tune-up. We are having no issues with our units and there were no concerns. Keep in mind we are strict on our HVAC upkeep and we have not even lived in our house a year and no one has said anything about our units in the multiple tune-ups, inspections, etc. so I was expecting nothing other than the tune-up. The tech instead told me that both of our units have reached their lifespan (they are 12 years) and need repairs immediately and that the cost of repairs was over $17k, that was just for repairs, not for unit replacement. It felt extremely sales pitchy. I had a feeling this was not true as, again, our units are working fine, we have had no issues, and no one has said anything in the multiple inspections and tune-ups we have had. I posted the invoice and pictures of everything in an HVAC forum and every single person said the repairs were unnecessary and extremely overpriced. I also had another HVAC company come out yesterday morning to get a second opinion on the areas AllTech (Lambert) said needed work and they found absolutely nothing that warranted replacement or repairs. He said we could easily get another 3-5 years from our units with regular maintenance. Later that night I went to turn on my AC units (they hadn't been run since AllTech was here because it wasn't hot enough) and they would turn on but wouldn't blow air. I called out yet another HVAC company and they found that a wire on each unit had been left unplugged which was causing the units to turn on but not blow air and they both overheated. I do not believe it was the second HVAC company that did this as they had just come out to inspect the parts that AllTech (Lambert) had said needed to be replaced and they didn't even run the units or check outside. So not only does it seem like AllTech (Lambert) tried to sabotage our units but had I listened to AllTech (Lambert) and not trusted my gut, they would have scammed us out of over $17k for absolutely no reason. Someone from AllTech (Lambert) was supposed to call us to discuss everything but they never did. I even reached out to them and asked if they were still going to call us, they said yes, and still have not. Obviously, this is my experience and others may have had better, but I just wanted to warn others since this is a small town with few options.
