The neighbors whose yard the tree was growing in FINALLY agreed to have it cut down completely and had chosen Ferguson's Tree Care to do the job. However due to the way the tree was growing, they needed access through my yard as most of the tree was growing over my fence and leaning into my property. Having had a lot of problems with Entergy's chosen tree companies damaging my driveway by bringing in huge cherry picker machines/trucks over the years due to power outages caused by this tree, I was very concerned as to what kind of equipment this company would be using before giving them access to my driveway and backyard to cut down this problem tree. Mr Carl Ferguson who is the owner of this company was very professional and explained what type of equipment they utilized which wouldn't cause damage to my new driveway and/or backyard lawn since they would have to come way into my backyard up to the fence line to cut down at least the top half of the tree leaning over onto my property line. Once they had it cut back enough they would then go into the neighbor's yard to cut it down to the ground. Mr Carl explained that they have large heavy duty pads they put over the grass to help with weight distribution of the equipment. As promised he brought in equipment that was large enough to do the job, but not so large as to damage my new driveway or lawn. His crew arrived promptly early in the morning, with lots of workers and equipment to do the job. Since he was already going to be on my side of the yard to chop down the top half of my neighbor's tree infringing on my property, I negotiated a price with Mr Carl to also cut down 2 small dead trees on MY property and also some minor tree trimming to take advantage of his crew while on site for the neighbor's tree issue. His price for my share of the work on my property side was reasonable. I was extremely pleased with the work that they performed and the workman did not twiddle their thumbs...they all worked hard, quickly and professionally. Did a wonderful job of cleaning up too. Blew off my cement areas that had debris and did a great job of raking and collecting all the little leaves and branches that were left on the green spaces. Of course all the big pieces of the tree were also hauled off as well. Definitely recommend Carl Ferguson's Tree service.

Lee and his team provided exceptional customer service from the estimating phase to job completion. The estimate was fair and competitive. Considering the COVID restrictions, it was nice to see a small crew (2-3 max) arrive at my home. My water oak was mature and huge. The crew arrived promptly and removed the tree safely. All debris was neatly removed from my yard and was picked up by a separate crew; no contact required. I was really impressed with the pace of the work; the crew was done in 5hrs. The stump grinding was also done well. We had an outlier that required some additional grinding. What left a lasting impression was the follow-up to the outlying stump issue. Since the stump grinders are extremely busy, Lee personally came to our home with an axe and hacked at the stubborn stump until it was gone. This was a huge help and prevented delay of an installation we had planned. Greatly appreciated!

Oh man. I didn't realize I never gave this company a Yelp review. I had a huge 3/4 story oak tree…read morein my front yard. It would cause so much anxiety during windy storms and hurricanes. I was so afraid it would fall during a storm. Thankfully it never did. So last fall the tree just randomly died. So now it was an emergency to have it removed. After getting quotes for the removal I chose Garcia tree experts. They came out with 2-3 days, I believe and took care of it. Now it was not the cheapest, but it wasn't the most expensive. In this instance I didn't really care about the cost, I wanted reliability care for my property. The cost only included the cut down and removal, not stump grinding, which I'll probably get done soon. My concern was just getting the tree down before hurricane season started. The stump doesn't bother me, it's just an eye sore. This pics aren't from the removal, it's from a hurricane that knocked down huge branches, that fell so loud and hard, that I thought the tree fell on the house. I didn't get any before and after of the tree. If you are looking for reliable, trust worthy company, this is the way to go. I also found them on Yelp projects. They replied within 2 hours.
