Dr Sahafi and Dr Wright refused to talk to Dr Perry and told me to my face they did not need to talk to him. Dr Sahafi told me I didn't love my son if I didn't immediately accept her plan. It was reckless and ignored my original inquiry if it could be done in HOAG Hospital and tried to scare me into doing the procedure in one of Dr Wrights offices instead. She insisted on the consult with Dr Wright in a classic bait and switch move and claimed she wasn't going to get a penny for James's treatment, that she was procuring patients for Dr Wright for free out of the goodness of her heart. It was a red flag and I didn't believe her. Dr Sahafi spoke to me with harshness and disrespect and expected me to be so afraid of her threats and lies about CVS investigating me (CVS said they were not investigating me. It was routine medication monitoring especially for a Warfarin patient because some medications are dangerous to take on Warfarin. Dr Sahafi tried to scare me into agreeing to pay her $107,689 by saying there was an investigation and that she was warning me and giving me "heads up" warning and offering to help me avoid getting in trouble by only seeing her. She ordered, warned me not to see other dentists or I would get in trouble. It was scary. I never had a doctor tell me not to consult other doctors before. She was trying to trap and isolate us. I told the police and the dental board. She took extreme retaliatory action by making a horrible false accusation against me to APS claiming I was hurting my son. For months we suffered the domestic violence investigation from the false allegations she made and all of James's doctors also had the dark cloud over them too because Dr Sahafi made the false allegations anonymously, making it impossible to quickly rectify the domestic abuse accusations. Many doctors stated they were not the one who made the horrible accusations. Some were so upset that they didn't want to examine James because the accusations were so ugly they didn't want to be blamed for making the false accusations and said they didn't want to be involved in this horrible situation. Blood tests, urine tests and full body exams proved that the terrible false accusations Dr Sahafi made we're not true at the time she concocted them and furthermore were never true before we met her. James had many procedures in hospital due to cancer, sepsis, and blood clots and a history of fainting which meant he was constantly seen in hospital gowns exposing all his skin and had regular blood tests monitoring his medications that Dr Sahafi lied and said I was not giving him. She said I was beating my autistic son while he was on warfarin to make him cry so he would get pain medication I could steal for myself. There would have been horrible bruises if what she said was true and he would have died from internal bleeding. Urine and blood tests proved her accusations were heinous lies. She accused me of trying to kill my son. He could have been ripped from his home and placed in a facility where he might have died from head-banging from the terror of being away from his home for the first time in his life. He could have been beaten by other patients in the facility who wouldn't understand why an autistic person couldn't stop screaming and crying to go home. The police detectives did not believe Dr Sahafi's horrible accusations. The heartache Dr Sahafi caused is beyond measure. On November 22, 2022 we were informed that Dr Sahafi was the one who made these horrible false accusations. She was willing to destroy my autistic son. She was willing to cast her dark shadow over every doctor and dentist who had seen James and let them suffer the suspicion that one of them might be suspected of the terrible thing that she anonymously did. Right before Thanksgiving we found out that she had done this. Many families were able to enjoy Thanksgiving more because the suspicion had been lifted because now everyone knows who did this. Dr Sahafi made this year very painful for my son, me and all of his doctors, none of whom were consulted by Dr Sahafi about their adamant position that James was too sick to have such an aggressive treatment outside of the hospital. She put an enormous amount of effort into trying to hurt us. She never got to know us. She was vicious and thought she could scare me into compliance even though her plan was too dangerous for my son and could easily have caused his death. She flat refused to talk to the doctors who wanted to tell her it was too dangerous. She said she didn't need to talk to them and that I don't love my son because I was hesitating to commit to her plan. No one was ever so rude to me before. She didn't know us but she was relentlessly cruel to us. She lied about an investigation and offered to help me avoid getting in trouble for the false allegations she made about me anonymously. I have never experienced anything this horrifying before in my entire 70 years of life. read more

BEWARE! I was a patient of Dr. Sahafi a few years back after moving to Orange County from LA. I needed to have implants on 3 of my teeth, which were quite expensive to begin with, one of them being on the upper mid front of my mouth. Previous to seeing this Dr Sahafi I had perfectly aligned teeth. Once the implants were ready to be placed I went in and Dr. Sahafi placed them and had her assistant file it down to match my other teeth. This woman started filing my Good tooth NOT THE IMPLANT! I was quite upset and spoke to the receptionist about what had happened who was very surprised and upset and asked if I could wait to speak to Sahafi but I was already quite late for work and had to leave. It was devastating since at the time I was also doing commercial print work and my smile was an important part of my job. I received a call from Sahafi who said that she could not understand why she would do that making me feel as though I was lying. I received many calls from Dover dental after the incident asking for me to please go back and they would fix it. There was nothing to fix my tooth was ruined. I've had to have my tooth bonded over and over by my new dentist just to have it look aligned but of course the bonding is not permanent. A few years have gone by and I gave Dr. Sahafi a call after my dentist who graciously did not charge me for the regular bonding sold his business and I had to start paying out of my pocket 500 dollars to have a more resilient bond on it. Her receptionist answered and of course remembered me when I told her my name but Sahafi DID NOT remember the incident now...hard to believe. PLEASE if you're considering this business at all beware! I was with them for a few years without any issues and when this happened she did NOT REMEMBER ??? My smile and teeth will never be or look the way they did before this happened. It took me a few years to write this because this is not something I like to do but my recents call with Sahafi was too much and could not imagine someone else going through what I did. read more

I Love this office and I think Dr. Sahafi is terrific!!! Dr. Sahafi did some cosmetic work for me in 2008, 13 years ago and the work looked amazing then and still does. The type of work that I had done sometimes deteriorates over time but mine has not! I get nothing but compliments on my smile. Recently I had some work done for my son by another dentist and while we are generally happy with the work there is a problem and we wanted a second opinion. Dr. Sahafi graciously provided a second opinion consultation and advised us on how to proceed. Dr. Sahafi ruined my life. I was divorcing after 32 years. I went to Dover wanting a new smile. Dr Sahafi recommended caps and a few implants. I agreed and paid her 17.000 dollars for the work. She recommended caps and several implants. I agreed. She than ground my teeth down and put on temporary caps. I had paid her 17,000 but was unable to pay the remaining 2,700 I owed her at the time. She refused to see me until I paid the balance. When I was able to pay the balance she saw me. This was 5 months I was trying to get her to see me. At this time she told me that my teeth had worn down to nothing and all she could do was pull them and fit me for a denture. Needless to say I was gutted. She fit me with a denture that looks like horse teeth. I can not afford implants and I'm left with Poor fitting dentures, complete lack of tasted, plastic in my mouth and complete devastation. I reached out several time but no offer of compensation. I'm embarrassed by my mouth and won't even go out in public. I was in a abusive marriage for over 30 years and she knew this. But what she did was abuse all over again. She cares nothing for the person, though her phony persona betrays that. I will never get over this it has devastated my life I've lost over 40 lbs as I can not taste food anymore. I would have sued her but I did not have the confidence to pursue i I appreciate Katy's response and that's nice but does not at all alleviate my suffering.. I got a note from dr Sahafi saying she was sorry I felt this way about her office however she could not talk about the specific details of my case because of hipa laws. That's great ! I have been going to Dr. Sahafi at Dover Dental for almost 10 years now, after my sister came home raving about how wonderful she was. She is the most competent, professional, honest, generous and compassionate individual. Even when my insurance did not cover my visits to her I paid out of pocket because I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Sahafi gave me discounts without even being asked. She is not only generous with her patients but she gives back to local charities as well. I work for a non-profit and Dr. Sahafi has always been proactive in asking how she can help and follows through on providing support. The offices at Dover Dental are clean and calming. The staff is simply fantastic. I love chatting with them when I come in. The only complaint I have is that they're always putting stuff in my mouth so I can't continue the great conversations I have with them! ;-) Walking into this office is like walking into the living room of an old friend.
