I have been making it a point to drive to Damariscotta where she is located right off Bristol rd downtown for many years. Joni is so sweet and such a pleasure to talk to, she has been in business for decades. I looked around and found an antique hand carved wooden German smoker, that when you pull the feet off from the body and insert a incense pellet in the appropriate place and light it so is starts burning and replace the feet, smoke comes out the Santa's mouth. He didn't have the item, but it's not easy to find and my expectations on that were very low. A friendly customer who Bob was helping before me overheard and they both offered me great advice for continuing the hunt for my treasure. I had a look around the shop, and found a beautiful (fragile) trinket I decided to purchase. Bob took extra special care in wrapping my item to make sure it would get home in one piece. It was clear he cared, even though my purchase only cost $5. (A steal). When I went out to my car, Bob had followed to take down the "open" flag and saw that I had my dog with me. He called out "next time you come please bring your dog in with you!" And that just made my day. Customer service is everything, and this place is as good as is gets. I am putting this on my "must visit" list for my future returns to coastal Maine.

They have jewelry, antiques, gifts, glass, Christmas items, and so much more. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is just an amazing shop, kinda off the beaten path, not right in the middle of things, near the Tugboat Inn. Prices are reasonable for the antiques and in line for the gifts etc. I always stop in when I am in Boothbay Harbor and I usually buy something too.

I told her we were both vaccinated and that that was no longer necessary. She raised her voice when telling us that it didn't matter " you must wear masks anyway". As we turned to get our masks out of our car, she also said that we were required to spray disinfectant cleaner on our hands before entering. I saw 2 small bottles of hand cleaner on the counter and went to grab one. She yelled as she said that I was teaching for the wrong bottle! Now, we consider ourselves to be reasonable people. We donned our masks when told too, but spraying disinfectant on our hands too? When looking at antiques? Give us a break! Needless to say, this place lost two good customers due to the ridiculous and totally unnecessary and discourteous employee at this used antique store. Stay away.

The custom made furniture and the paintings on the walls are real works of art. Michael and Janna (the owners--him the furniture designer and she the artist of some of the paintings on display) were very warm and inviting. Plus, the three guys in the workshop were interesting and engaging in explaining what they were working on, describing the functions of various woodworking tools, and giving us a crash mini tutorial in furniture building. The wood selections (-I particularly loved the Tiger Maple pieces) and furniture designs are beautiful. If we didn't just downsize and move to the city, I'd surely consider buying some of their beautiful furniture.

Zero professional ethic…read more Hi everyone. I have bought last week a purse through Etsy. While my transaction was being processed by Etsy (it can take up to 48 hours to prevent any frauds), Joel decided to cancel it because he realized he could make extra $ with my purchase. My transaction has been clear and approved by Etsy on Friday. I needed to change the delivery address on my package because I was going to be out of town and I wanted to make sure someone would get the package. Instead of helping me,he repeated me that I was a high risk customer, and that I was suspected of Fraud, and so that he had to cancel my purchase. Once again the transaction has been approved by Etsy. I really wanted my purse and was waiting for it for a week while I have contacted Joel to tell him that I could show my credit card/ ID/ FaceTime with him to prove that I was honest. He told me he could not do anything and that her consigner took back the item, because she was not trust me. In reality, he cancel my sale because he realized that maybe he could make more money, because the purse still on sale for more than originally priced ($750 to $1200). Joel waisted my time, had been very dishonest with me while I was trusting him. I would have prefer him to tell me the truth. Also be careful fox, he started to be cold when I asked if could return the item in case the authenticity company was suspecting a fake. This company is opportunistic, untruth-wordy, disloyal and please check for the items background, history and authenticity. Of course Joel blocked me from his Facebook page, and I guess he does that with all his unhappy customers. In that case it is easy to have a good rate!

Clean and organized aesthetic, so it's not overwhelming when you walk in like a lot of consignment shops are. And the racks aren't overflowing and hard to sift through... we love to see it. So many jackets and sweaters, shoes, hats, shirts, dresses, etc. for solidly decent prices. I got a vintage patterned LL Bean sweater for $25. PLUS, incredibly sweet employees. The woman who checked me out was so nice and excited for my find. Great for validation if you need it lol. Will for sure recommend to any friends living in or visiting Rockland, Maine.

St. Andrews to the rescue for wine glasses, kitchen knives, colander, pyrex baking pan, among other items. I have found a few clothing items. The displays are lovely and I appreciate how much care the volunteer staff must take to make things look attractive. I feel as though the prices are good for the most part. Some items do seem a bit high, but when people buy things at Thrift Shops for re-sale online, why shouldn't the Thrift shop make the profit?
