All staff we've ever come into contact with have been INCREDIBLY nice. The building and waiting area is also very clean and nice. I've noticed at other groomers that there tends to be quite a bit of a smell, but have never noticed that here. They are super fast - both times took less than 90 minutes, but I never feel like they cut corners. He always gets a deshed and it's always done beautifully. Bonus points for the fact that every time my boy has gone in, he's come home with a bandana and a bowtie. Literally amazing. Thank you so much for existing in my area!!! After a couple bad experiences, we felt we were very lucky to have stumbled across Well Groomed Pets and specifically, Joy. For the past couple of years, we've been very specific when calling to make appointments - we would always request Joy and work around her schedule. Yes, Well Groomed is on the pricier side, and for the last year or so we were told Joy only takes reservations on Fridays, but both have been fine with us because we trusted her with our dog. Today we called to make an appointment and we were told Joy is no longer grooming - that's unfortunate, but we understand. That said, the receptionist informed us that Joy actually hasn't groomed our dog a single time for the last ten months... Which means that despite being very specific about who we wanted to schedule with, and being told we can only schedule certain days with that groomer, and the groomer being present when we dropped him off and picked him up, we have been lied to this entire time about who is actually grooming our dog. The receptionist went a step further and clarified there have been two other groomers (both names unknown to us) who have been grooming him, and apparently this isn't a new issue - "we've been running into this a lot; apparently Joy was not very communicative with her clients." This review isn't about Well Groomed doing a bad job with our dog - this review is strictly about their business practices. If a client schedules with a particular groomer and has to schedule only on certain days because of it, then the business has someone else do the grooming and lies to the client about it, that is not only unethical, but also completely unacceptable - so much so that I'm posting this review. Like I said, their prices are already on the high side - I will be and recommend that you also take your business elsewhere, somewhere that doesn't lie to their clients.

Had pretty much expected to shave her since she was living her best life being dirty and free. So we did. It took our groomer about 3 hours to shave her. But when we got her back, we could tell she hadn't been mistreated. There are times when we get her back and she skittish or jumpy. She was perfectly fine. I did ask her to cotton ball her ears so she wouldn't get an ear infection since she's prone to those. She didn't get one. She looks so cute, Is so soft, and smells good.
