Both arrangements were mostly greens, I hate greens, period, in an arrangement, to me they look cheap. The arrangements were 90% greens and nothing of what I ordered. One arrangement was to be 15 tulips of various colors and nothing else. I had looked for some flowers in the grocery store down the road, but to no avail so I was directed to this florist. Unfortunately, when I arrived, it was after 5:00p.m. and the store was closed. However, the staff saw me and came and unlocked the door to let me in and let me eat their fresh made candy while we chatted. They even offered to make an arrangement for me right then if I wanted to wait a little bit. I ended up not but had hoped to come back the next day but was unable to. My second chance to deal with them came this week with the passing of my sister. When I called, Bethany, (one of the owners) answered the phone and was very pleasant. She was very helpful, directing me to their website and how to pick arrangements that would be perfect for a less than perfect day. She was also very clear about when I should call back by to ensure that the arrangement made it to the funeral home. I did call back and this time spoke to another employee who was very knowledgable and worked with me to honor the pricing that Bethany and I had spoken about. The flowers arrived at the funeral home with no problems and they were spectacular. The Morning Star arrangement that I ordered was very large and the quality of the flowers was superb! Although I do not live locally, if I ever had a reason to go back to Bedford, P.A., I would certainly use this florist again.

There are a vast number of hidden little seating areas / meditation spots, each of which is surrounded by a variety of gorgeous flowers. There is a beautifully designed covered pavilion which is surrounded by gorgeous floral gardens with a vast array of different flowers. This place is a truly hidden Gem. I had a few plants that I couldn't find anywhere in the DC or Baltimore area. I must have called about 20 different shops. Not only did this place have what I was looking for, they had about 5 different versions of the same plant. Each of the staff members went out of their way to talk me through what type of soil I needed, where to plant each one and tips on making my yard grow better. I was writing so much of it down, since they were such a wealth. I've never seen so many plants, and it was reasonably priced. I honestly may make this my go to plant nursery each year.
