In May 2025, my wife, Abbigail, was a patient of Dr. Klein's. My wife had a simple out-patient…read moreprocedure performed to address some bone that was poking through her gum as a result of teeth grinding. Dr. Klein, knowing that my wife was a diabetic, declined to provide my wife with antibiotics. There is absolutely zero reason that Dr. Klein made this choice, particularly as diabetics are far more highly susceptible to infection than the ordinary patient. Antibiotics are non-addictive and posed no harm to be prescribed even as a precaution -- still, Dr. Klein declined to offer my wife this simple dignity. A day after my wife's procedure, she was in an immense amount of discomfort and pain, and her swelling had grown well beyond just the exterior site of her procedure. When we called Dr. Klein to explain what was going on, his response was that he 'wouldn't be prescribing any further pain medication', which we were not asking for. Dr. Klein treated my wife as drug seeking. Dr. Klein had no concern for Abby's increased swelling and did not bring her back into the office until the following Monday, at which point, my wife was septic. Dr. Klein tried to clean up the mess he had created by bringing my wife back and reopening the incisions he'd created, and put in drains that, the surgeons at the hospital later indicated served no purpose. Dr. Klein then, finally prescribed my wife antibiotics and Vicodin. Because, as you can imagine, I had zero faith that Dr. Klein had my wife's best interests at heart, I took my wife to our primary care physician for advice. When our doctor couldn't find Abby's airway, I rushed my wife to the ER, where she was taken for emergency intubation and was treated for sepsis, and underwent two additional surgeries. Her throat was so swollen shut by the time she arrived at the hospital they had to use a pediatric tube, as a standard, adult sized intubation tube wouldn't fit. Dr. Klein's advice, at the second time we met him, was to wait until the next day to take Abby to the hospital. If I had taken his advice, my wife would be dead. As you can imagine, a year later, my wife is still dealing with the health impacts of Dr. Klein's lack of care. Dr. Klein's choice not to prescribe my wife antibiotics was not a violation of the standard of care - but remember this: the standard of care doesn't protect the A+ doctors, it defends the F- doctors Like Dr. Klein. When we went to get my wife's medical records from Dr. Klein, he did not apologize to my wife, and in fact tried to bring her back into an exam room. He also had the audacity to charge us for her medical records, which was an astonishing insult to immense injury. Dr. Klein is not just a reckless practitioner, he is a careless person. Avoid this practice if you value your health, and your life.

Unfortunately, at 66 years old, I had to have a tooth pulled. I was not going to have a hole in my…read moremouth so I went for an implant. Dr. Klein was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. He numbed me up good I didn't feel anything really! I must've made a face because one of the other nurses grabbed my hand to comfort me. It was a nice touch , it's now 24 hours later and I've taken one Tylenol in six hours. No pain thank you.
