I had the Brick Purse tapas which was a light pastry filled with cream cheese, shrimp, and leeks. It was light yet creamy and delicious and had a sweet red pepper jam as a garnish that really tied all the flavors together very well. My friend had the sliced tomatoes with olive oil as a tapas to start, and she said that it reminded her of her grandmother's tomatoes in Sicily, so you know that's a good sign. Although normally we wouldn't order the same thing, we both selected that Chef's Risotto and it was absolutely divine. The rice was cooked perfectly and still had that bite you'd expect from risotto and the flavor profile...omg. The risotto was prepared with what tasted like a Madeira wine sauce, mushrooms, leeks, and just the right amount of Parmesan. I throughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!
