Store policy is apparently not to remove an out of stock item from the menu but to call me after the order has been submitted and accepted (therefore Doordash does not give me my money back if I cancel) and tell me that my only option is to accept a different cake. I would not have submitted the order if I knew the original cake wasn't available. Secondly: they failed to include the three tubs of ice cream that I ordered and paid for in the delivery. So now I have zero tubs of ice cream and a cake that I did not want to begin with. Their only option for recompense is store credit at a place that I never want to have anything to do with again. Plus the credit is only for the ice cream that they failed to deliver and not for the cake in a flavour that they forced me into buying.
