Welcome to Doctor Evermor's Sculpture Park, aka "World of Dr. Evermor." I've been to Lakenenland Sculpture Park in Marquette Michigan which is similar but not nearly as extensive as Forevertron. This is definitely the works of someone with a lot of time, a lot of welding experience and a bunch of money to enjoy their hobby. Lots of interesting sculpture works and a few things that haunted my dreams for a few days. The park is completely free and donations are appreciated. Don't miss it. What an interesting & unexpected sculpture park - spread over large grounds, with QR codes to scan for info & to make donations. There was a lot to see & you certainly can't beat the price. We spent about 2hrs, as 6 eclectic & eccentric adults, wandering about and discovering. We didn't read up prior to going, as we didn't KNOW we were going until we went.

Whenever I travel I like to find off the map things to check out. Being a fan of art as well this stop was perfect. Tons of interesting sculptures but not so much as to be overwhelming. Highly recommend the stop if you're in the area

I am so glad we swing by this sculpture park!! The admission is free, so you may not expect too much, but this park is extremely high quality and you're in for a surprise! It's about 30 minutes outside of Madison, and it's SO worth the drive! It's a small family owned park with tons of sculptures that have been created from various scrap metal pieces. The pieces range from a small portable size to as enormous as a house. Some pieces should not be touched, and other pieces are interactive and could be played like a musical instrument. You can tell that each piece of art has been crafted with dedication and love by "Dr. Evermore" and his family. Even though the park was small and it was raining and cold out, we spent a good 1.5 hours at this park admiring all of the beautiful and wonderous art pieces!! Lady Elanor (Dr. Evermore's wife) was present at the park when we visited. She was sitting inside a small van in the park that served as a giftshop. I was surprised to learn that some of the pieces were for sale. She told us a little about her family and the pieces, which was interesting. I highly recommend anyone in the Madison area to go for a visit. If you can spare it, remember to bring some cash! Although admission is free, they accept donations, and I think it's definitely worth donating to this magical little park!

This place is simply magical. I've brought out-of-town family here whenever they visit me & it's always a fun thing to do. It truly feels like being transported to another world. These sculptures are lifelike in the sense that you can vividly imagine how they would move - Dr. Evermor brought these creatures to life while also maintaining the recognizability of their components which is quite an artistic feat. I'd recommend visiting to anyone- even if you're not into art. Make sure to stop by & talk to Lady Evermor too. She'll fill you in on the rich story behind the sculptures.

Myself and some friends from the Fiat club came to check this place out I was wondering what it exactly was and didn't think much of it but it turned out pretty cool There was a lot of cool sculptures to look at. It definitely sparks the imagination I would definitely recommend checking this place out....

Wow. Just wow... This place is a bit hard to find, the turn off not well marked but the adventure is so worth the effort. Park under the trees and then walk into the most surreal metal creation ever. This is the life work of one imaginative man! His family continues to carry the torch and friends caretaker the amazing sculptures.

I heard about Forevertron about a month ago when my sister and I were both planning separate trips back to Wisconsin for a visit. How have I never heard of it before?! There isn't a particularly noticeable sign. You pretty much need to actively be looking for it. Our GPS took us to the parking lot of Delaney's Surplus, which is right next door. You maaaay be able to walk through over to Forevertron, but if you go back out on the Highway, and take the next place to turn in, there is an area to park at the actual place. And then you enter the magical, weird world of Forevertron! It is actually a smaller area that I expected it would be, but no less spectacular. It is hard to describe....junkyard meets sculpture garden meets art park....it is fascinating and wonderful! An enormous piece of whimsy in the center of it all (I only wish it was possible to climb around on it!), an office in a bus, a huge grill, and the coolest of the lot (in my opinion) an artsy creature orchestra! If you are into the Roadside Americana kind of thing, enjoy having a story about the weird things you have seen, or enjoy outsider art you are going to LOVE this place.

What can you say about this place that does it justice? Over-the-top? Super creative? Funky? Kitschy? A must stop no matter how you describe it. A real piece of Americana. I love places like this which are so fun given they are so authentic. This free (donations welcomed) attraction just south of Baraboo is worth 30 minutes of your time. Wander around the sculptures and marvel at the creative use of everyday items and discarded junk. It is a bit hard to spot off of Hwy 12 - just look for Delaney's on the west side of 12 and the "art park" entrance is a bit south. You should also stop in Delaney's because it is also worth a visit because you will never see a more random collection of surplus and over-stock items for sale. What a great combo tourist stop these two places are for those who like off-beat attractions.

There are a few different things to see here and I highly recommend spending the day exploring it all. First the main room when you enter will have history on the Ringling Brothers along with a few novelty items. Then next to it are all the animal houses that have wagons, dioramas, and so much more in each of them. They have things from Ringling, but also history on other circus's. Now you cross a bridge to the other side where they have the Hippodrome. In here they have a few small shows in here. They also have actual circus train cars that were used by Ringling. During the summer months they have a circus tent where they do a circus show that's free with the price of admission to the museum. Now the best part is the wagon area. It's a giant building that holds about 50 wagons from every circus around. The history of these wagons is amazing. Overall if you want a day of exploring circus history and want to see the live circus, visit this amazing place.

Walking into the brewery was awesome, such a cool place and quite large. The girl at the spot were I believe you can order food wasn't too friendly but the bartender was awesome! Bartender was super friendly, I wish I could remember his name. We told him how we were looking for things to do and he was more than happy to write down some recommendations for us. I thought that was super nice because I feel like sometimes, at least in the Dells area, it seems like they get tired of us tourists and aren't always as friendly as I feel they should be considering they know they're working in a tourist area. We happened to be sitting next to the lady that does the tours so we thought, awesome, we love seeing old buildings and hearing the history so we signed up! It's $20 per person and about 50-60 mins. It was super cool to see, informative, the lady was friendly, and answered any questions we had. It was pretty amazing to hear that people actually live on the 4th floor, I wasn't expecting that for some reason. After the tour was over she played the large organ for us which was great. We sat down for another beer, listened to the awesome music the bartender was playing and set up our next tour at the Driftless Glen distillery. This was on our list plus it was one of the recommendations from the bartender. If your in the area and looking for something different to do, I highly recommend checking this place out!

The basement isn't part of the tour but I hope once they complete it, that it will be, as I'd come back to see that as well. If you're hungry or in the mood for a beer, the brewery attached to the back is a nice stop. I tried a couple of beers and enjoyed them both. The tour gives the answer as to why they built the brewery as well (sorry, no spoilers here either). The tour is cash only and on specific times, so be sure to check those before coming. Cheers.

You can't miss it. Just look for the colorful cars standing up on end. They have a decent sized parking lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall that it is in. I was also surprised that I did not have to have a reservation, even though I got there early. There still was not a long line or huge crowd the whole time I was there and we spent about an hour there. They do not even offer reservations either so, I do not know how they handle it if they get slammed packed. You start your journey by getting dressed in 80s gear that they provide. You could also bring your own, but they have a huge selection of pants shirts, shoes, earring headbands, sunglasses, gloves, phones, hats, sweatpants, and chains. They also have makeup for you. They provide changing rooms and lockers to lock up your clothes you wore there. I recommend getting there early to get your full pick of clothing. Once something is worn, it is out of commission for a while until it is cleaned. The staff there is so helpful and friendly they are awesome. They provide you with a tripod, which was perfect because I was able to use my Apple Watch to control my phone's shutter. They have about 20 scenes set up for you to take some photos. Some of the scenes include MTV, a big boom box, Miami Vice car, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Farris Beuler's room, Super Mario Brothers, Hulk Hogan, Back to the Future 2 hoverboard, a rubix cube, bubble gum and you start it all off with the Simpsons, which is located in the area with the clothes. The scenes are very well done. My favorite was probably the MTV, followed closely by Miami Vice and the Rubix Cube. You end your tour by exiting through a huge stack of VHS tapes which comes out in the gift shop and looks like a coke machine on that side. The gift shop has candy, drinks and 80 themed items like shirts, hats, rubix cubes, bags, lite brites and pictures. Once you hit the gift shop, don't forget to go outside and take pictures by the cars though before you turn your clothes back in. When you turn you clothes back in, you put them in a basket for cleaning and you are off. This place was very fun. My littles, who were both born in the 2010's both had a blast. You will definitely get some awesome shots. If you have an Apple Watch and iPhone, it is easy peasy. If not, you will just have to use your camera's timer or bring your own Bluetooth shutter. I highly recommend checking this place out. It puts an 80s spin on the selfie museum fad that is sweeping the country. It is a unique spot and is definitely more than worthy for a prime-time spot on your itinerary.

I was told (and saw on the reviews) that the food was not up to par, but I wasn't that let down by the food either. Sure it wasn't spectacular, but I thought it was passable. The food was a basic Christmas meal. Soup Appetizer, Turkey, Ham, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and also Mac and Cheese. I thought the Turkey, Green Beans and Potatoes were the best part. The hour and 15 minute show started with a bang with a floating violinist and closed with a live Nativity. Singers and Dancers were all very talented. My favorite part (or song) was the 12 Days of Christmas mash up. That was really clever. Maybe, if I did have a let down it would be the price of the drinks... that was pretty outrageous. A specialty drink and an old fashion was about $50. And my wife's drink wasn't even very good. But she got to keep the plastic boot glass it came it! (Eye Roll) I highly recommend this show. It was awful. The good thing, it was served warm. For dessert we could pick pie or brownie. We got the brownie and didn't finish it. It was like dead weight, almost like they forgot an ingredient.
