Wonderful Veterinary practice! I recently moved here from California and was looking for a local…read morevet to do a check up & help get us the required documents needed for licensing. We are so pleased to have found Dr. Alice Holzapfel and the rest of the staff here! I was worried because I do not speak German and had a lot of things to discuss with the her. She took her time to explain everything to me in English and helped me obtain what I needed for my furry friend. The practice itself is very clean, organized and well maintained. You can make appointments over the phone or online and the staff is very helpful (even to non German speakers). Dr Holzapfel was GREAT with my dog and made her feel right at home. I have already made another appt with her to hopefully help ease some of my dog's skin issues. Anyone who has owned a white dog knows they need to be seen by a vet frequently, as they are proned to skin allergies and infections. I also appreciate that they take a holistic approach when treating their patients. I have already seen a huge improvement in the remedy Dr. Holzapfel gave me for her sore paws. I'm so thankful to have found this place! I know my baby is in good hands and will remain a healthy dog in their care!

I moved from California to Enschede for school, and brought my dog with me. My baby needed a…read morebooster vaccination and this vet is conveniently located near my school campus/where I live! I have nothing but a bike so I definitely need something within biking distance (with my dog in basket). This place totally exceeded my expectations! I made an appointment over the phone, brought it whatever paperwork I needed to get my dog into the country, and they looked through it to make sure everything was up to date. The vets were so nice and caring towards my dog, and they were able to connect with me as well, which I find it kind of rare for most Dutch businesses. They definitely related to me with some of my concerns about being alone with my dog in a foreign country, and provided me with some recommendations for dog sitting services for when I'm gone during the holidays. The highlight for me was when they filled out a little passport for my dog! I wish they did this in the US, it is a really nice way to keep track of my dogs vaccinations, making it easy for her to travel within the EU. My dog is officially a Dutch citizen!
