I…read morehave been here now a few times and I found her to be very helpful, thorough and good at what she does. It's a small clinic with a couple of dentists and they have most of the regular services you would need. They also speak English so if you are not comfortable speaking in German it's fine here. I wanted this option only because some of the words they use in this field were totally unfamiliar to me as she was the first dentist I went to since coming to Germany. She explains everything in detail and her staff are also quite good and thorough. Appointments are pre booked well in advance and they send you reminders a couple of days before. After having visited now four times I am getting used to the words and so we have resumed conversations in German but she does sometimes switch just to be sure. If you are looking for an English speaking dentist or just a dentist in the area I would happily recommend her services.

I had no idea how to go about finding a dentist in Munich and in fact, I turned to Yelp and chose Dr. Dettenhofer based on the other reviews here. It was a good move. He turned out to be an excellent dentist. Very businesslike, but concerned that I not experience any more pain or anxiety than I already had. He performed a partial root canal on the tooth, relieving the pain and helping to resolve the raging infection I had developed. Within two days I was able to eat, sleep, and function again. As a non-German speaker, I was very reassured that his English and that of his staff was very good. I hope I never have to see a dentist while abroad again, but if I do, I hope I'm in Munich. I'll make a beeline for Dr. Dettenhofer.

I arrived in Munich needing to see a doctor and my pension set up an appointment with Dr…read more Lebentrau. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Dr. Lebentrau's English is limited, but we managed and she wrote a prescription which fixed me right up. As I was paying (quite a bit less than expected, a very pleasant surprise!!) I remarked to the clerk how nice the doctor was and she replied "yes, we are lucky to work with her" which speaks volumes.
