I went to this bathhouse 20 years ago and when I visited relatives in Essen, I thought it would be…read morerelaxing to visit it again. Instead, I experienced the most appalling thing ever. I was wearing a bikini and, after taking a shower, decided to try the indoor pool. All of a sudden, a woman coming out of the pool, started shouting at me telling me what was I doing there with a bikini and that I should be completely naked. I told her that was my choice and she immediately threatened me with reporting me to reception. I went into the pool and soon after a woman came to ask who was de delinquent wearing a bikini in their pool. I raised my hand and she scorned me saying that was unacceptable. I have never seen or heard such rude, out of place behavior in my entire life and would never return there or recommend it to anyone. Why not have a sign clearly stating what their policy is? Unprofessional, rude and unfriendly customer service.
