I had my car windows tinted at this place because it was near to my house and was quoted a good price. After I picked up my car and brought it home, I noticed bubbles and sand particles underneath the tint right away. I was told give it a few weeks to allow the tint to "cure". After a few weeks, it didn't go away....obviously because it was actual grains of sand and dirt. All five windows had this problem. After bringing it back a couple times to get it redone, I gave up. The windows would still have a few sand particles or dirt underneath it. Never again this place sucks read more

This is the worst place to get your windows tinted. First of all, they have this crappy tent that they work out of. Second, if you are not happy with your tint; they wont replace or redo the work...only if you pay the fee again. Third, my tint had dirt specs in it. I showed it to them and they didnt want to fix it....again without paying again. This was on my new benz(when I had it - sold it since). Arriving there to a tent and unprofessional looking guys, thag alone should of told me to turn around a go somewhere else. What a waste of my money. Horrible. Very nice guy at first, but after he scratched both door panels, he refused to admit it. Car was brand new, left it with keys for 4 hours with him. Didn't pick it up until after he closed. When I picked it up, I noticed there are two identical scratch marks INSIDE on both the front doors (one mark on each side). Came back the next day and he was closed. Came back again the day after and he denied it. The thing with the scratch marks are that they are identical in the angle of the cuts. The marks are diagonal to the windows on both sides, same angles. The guy blamed it on us for damaging the car on purpose....when our car is brand new. Impressive logic tint guy. That is what happened, not mentioning the LITTLE TENT he uses to block out wind and dust particles. Should've turned away after I found out he uses a TENT. If he tells you he uses only plastic tools, its a lie. There are other metal tools he uses. Tint quality is the lowest possible and the craftsmanship is below average compared to others we have seen. There are visible wrinkles on the rear window tint that I KNOW for a fact WILL NOT go away after "curing" because they are not bubbles, THEY'RE WRINKLES. Bubbles CURE, WRINKLES DON'T! I'm planning to bring it back after the specified time that is stated in the receipt as curing time. If you want quality tints and average or above craftsmanship, do not go here. -Update: Too many dust particles lodged under tints. Bubbles are showing up. His method to deal with this is to deny it. Got tired of pointing things out and taking it back. read more

For all you people that get mad about bubble right off the bat, IT GOES AWAY! You will always have bubbles when its drying. My car was cleanly done and within 48 hours looked perfect. If the guy saysits lifetime warranty, hes not going to put bubbles in your window. He doesn't want to do it again. We took 3 E60's to his ship at 1:30. I came in 2 weeks ago had my windows tinted, got a,price quote made my app, Dr. Tint finished my car in about 2 hours, and it took getting used to not being able to roll down my windows. I would not recommend this shop. I had a very negative customer experience there and I feel the shop dropped the ball big time. I drove away from this shop with a tint job that I hated, and I had to get another shop to redo the work. I think this shop should have replaced the tint for me at no charge or refunded my money. They only offered to redo the work if I paid them more money. I feel I got totally screwed, but I'll put more details below so you can have your own opinion. ...I went to the shop to get 15% tint on the back 3 windows. Told the guy there, Ray, it cant be too dark of tint. He told me it would be see through on my particular car if I go that light, and he highly recommended 5% instead. He talked about the large size of the window, and the light color of the interior, and kept recommending I use 5%. "So, it's not going to be too dark with 5%?"....He'd tell me no. This guy is a professional Tint installer, so I started to think he must know more than me and I am wrong. So I accepted his repeated recommendation to go with 5% on the back window. It was dark as black. Way too dark. I asked them to replace it because it was recommended by Ray, and I had stated it can't be too dark multiple times. To paraphrase his response "My recommendation is just my opinion. Since you accepted my recommendation, a deals a deal. We don't replace tint unless there is a defect. But we could give you a discount on the cost to replace it." On top of this, there were 9 narrow air bubbles about 3/4" long which he said could be fixed, but I had him remove the tint anyway to get it done somewhere else (i left a review for that other shop too). No way am I paying these guys to do the job a second time. Maybe it's my own fault for listening to his professional recommendation for a car that cant be too dark, instead of just telling him to do what I asked for. read more

I have been coming to this place since 2013 and got all of my vehicles Tinted at ''Dr Tint California''. Have been extremely happy with the workmanship and customer service. Yesterday 8/11/17 took my work van to DrTint again to get front two side windows tinted. He did the job under 45 min while chatting with me and my brother!! (a lot of distraction for a normal window Tinter) :)) As always Engin did an amazing job again! If you are looking for a true artist with tinting skills and knowledge he is the true professional you should contact. Also another thing that I just learned about him that he does commercial and residential window tints as well. Now I am planning to get my house windows Tinted. I just had our second Prius' windows tinted by Dr. Tint. He did a fantastic job on our '08 and our '09. It cost $170 (incl tax) for 3 back windows, but that's competitive. The work is excellent. No bubbles! You can't see the edges of the tint film. You need to make an appointment a few days in advance. It took about an hour. Visited with a second car 4/10/15. First car (Honda Element) was done almost 2 years ago and tint still looks excellent. Got our newer model Sienna front windows and front visor done. Called at 12:30PM was told to come in and arrived 30 minutes later. The guys were quick, got us out of their fast. Initial quality looks good. I took my 2003 Audi to Dr Tint for window tinting. I purchased what was recommended for all 5 windows. When I left I noticed I had lost all radio reception. Went back and they stood strong that it had nothing to do with the window tinting. My rear window had my Antenna in it. I finally took my car to another reputable and professional window tinting and they said they used the wrong tinting on my rear window which was causing my radio reception to fail. Once removed and replace $200 later it's great. Wouldn't use this business if the service was free. Plenty of other places that do right to the customer and when they don't they at least acknowledged it. Do not patronize this so called business unless you want to waste your money. read more

I brought my Mini Cooper here awhile back and it turned out looking good....at first, my rear windows are suppose to be limo tint, I left my car out in the sun for one summer and now the tint looks super ugly like those ugly cheap DIY purple tints, and I can totally see right into the car after the tint faded... at least there are no bubbles... there's no warranty, so i'm taking my car elsewhere to redo the car that provides a lifetime warranty/guarantee on the job. I did go when he wasn't busy, he made sure to tell me exactly what he was going to do. He estimated an hour but it was more like 45 min. Since he finished fast I made a point to check all of the car. He said there would be bubbling but didn't notice any. I was very impressed I did get 5% in the back which looks odd with my 70% in the front but that isn't his fault. Today I went to Dr. Tint because I want to take my car windows for a while. I found this place really good and a fair price as well. When I spoke to the manager of Dr. to hear showed me that it would only take an hour for insulation and get it actually took less than an hour for the tent to be installed into the windows of the vehicle.when Iapproach the manager showed me the different types of window tent I can apply to the car so I chose the 20% all around all windows and it came out gorgeous just how I expected. I highly recommend this place to everyone that wants to get their window tinted and also for fast service there's not just one guy working on the car but two to make it that much faster. So if you're looking for window tint I said Dr. Tan is the best way to go. He had also told me that cannot use any cleaning window for the inside just because of the chemicals that can harm the window tint for the next couple days and so on. read more

I found him online when i was searching for a place to tint my car windows. Honestly i was hesitant first after reading some of the reviews on Yelp, but i decided to give them a shot. In the end, they gave me the best price among those i called. The guy welcomed me in a friendly way even though It was a very hot day and he was working outdoors. I had to wait until he finishes since, i had no where else to go. Luckily it took him around 90 minutes, which should be considered as pretty fast for a task he performs. You kinda get what you are paying for. Sure, they are cheaper, but the quality isn't as good as some other places. The quality of the film is fine, but there is quite a bit of debris under the film: I found a few specs of dust and a small hair. In fact, my friends pointed out how sloppy the tint looks, even after the rear window was redone. But oh well. Also, the rear defroster appears to be damaged after the tint was redone, but the guy on the phone said it was that way before. Since I don't have the evidence to disprove him, I will let it slide, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I know they have lifetime warranty, but I'm not sure if they were to redo the rear window again, it will turn out any better. May not be worth my time. At least I saved $40 over another tinting place. read more
