Afterward, I saw some nails sticking down out of the metal on the deck and I have never seen that before so I notified the project manager. Project manager was in Europe at the time but once he returned, he jumped on it and the owner contacted me that same evening. Turned out the nails were supposed to be there but the former roof did not have that transition metal. I will definitely hire them for projects in the future.
