We took a group of 13 here without a reservation and got seated immediately. The staff was quick to come fill our water , offer us drinks and send us on to the buffet. The tables were full of dish options and most were still steaming they were so fresh (at 5:30 on a Friday, before a hockey game) and the dishes were being refilled very regularly. I personally loved the ceiling mural that was light by the ceiling lights. The rest of the restaurant was very plain but well designed to keep noise levels to a minimum. In town visiting my parents and decided to buy Chinese food. Ordered from here and won't ever again. The rice was dry & believe it or not BURNT. Never have I had burnt rice. Wow...I am truthfully surprised that this hasn't been "yelped" before. Rob & I have been here with family a handful of times and it's always been pretty busy! This location offers great parking and there is always a huge variety of food when you get inside. There never seems to be a shortage of tables so there's no wait time to get in (granted, we've only ever been there during the day. It likely picks up at night). Went for lunch with my boyfriend, was seated immediately and our server took our drink order, we got up to grab our food and i mostly had Chinese food. Only to finally taste the food and was VERY disappointed with what i put into my mouth. The beans were over cooked and lacked any flavor, the rice wasn't seasoned at all it seemed, my sweet and sour pork was alright but nothing to boast about. At this point I wanted something to wash the taste out of my mouth, and we hadn't received our drinks yet. Apparently our server had just left and didn't put our drink orders in, so i guess i can't fault her for that. My boyfriend had mostly american food and was kind of pleased which was disheartening for a Chinese buffet. I don't think i will be returning. One good thing was the place was very clean. If I was only rating the food I'd rate it 3 stars, however I threw in an extra one because the staff is so kind and welcoming. I did not enjoy the boba as it was made with a powdered flavoring instead of actual fruit, and I just all around am not a big fan of the lychee as the bubble, I'm more of a tapioca person. This place is truly one of the best buffet restaurant in North America with bunch of variety of food selections. Foods are mostly North American style Chinese food, breakfast, Salad bar, desert, Dimsum, some bit turkey and beef at night. We always go there and eat a few plates with all different kind of dish plus deserts. Food are always fully prepared and even it's gone, it will be ready within minutes. The place is very clean and huge parking lot. Service is quick but as it's buffet that doesn't matter really. I am always looking for a better buffet place but haven't found anything like here. We used to go there like every month but now I miss this place so much. By the way this place is that that expensive. I've been here many times and the food is always outstanding. Over the years, they've worked on making your eating and family experience an enjoyable one. Everyone is very happy to see you, and the food is fresh and hot!! They specialize in Asian cuisine and it really shows as the dishes are very flavorful and abundant! Went for my birthday for the buffet and was seated right away. Waitress was friendly, place was clean and atmosphere was good. The buffet had lots to choose from (more than other in the area) and was hot and very flavorful. We didn't have to sit with dirty plates on the table in order to enjoy the next round either. Ordered take-out at 8pm on a Wednesday night. It was ready for pick up in 15 min and was nice and hot when we served it at home. Loved everything we ordered including the rice noodle recommend. Very tasty and each dish had it's own distinctive flavor. Sometimes Chinese food all tastes the same no matter what you order, but not from this restaurant. We have finally found our favorite Chinese food place in Red Deer:) read more

We have been here quite a bit and the food is always good and they have a great selection of both western and Asian cuisine. They are very reasonably priced at just under $15.00 a plate. We have always had good service and we will definately be coming back! read more

Really disappointed in Saturday's service. 8 of us arrived between 7:30-8:00 and we were not even offered a beverage besides water. 4 of the 8 had never been here before and were really disappointed as the other 4 of us quite enjoyed. Food quality seems to be down the past few times we've been. Disappointed in the way we were treated. No dirty plates were removed, no beverages offered and felt like we were in the way when we stayed until 9:30 p.m. The bill was never brought to the table. I went to pay, was told to go to the bar area to pay. Cashier proceeded to take funds from 4 other people that came after me but had to wait. That was never explained why at all. I was never given a bill in fact, just told my total, which was $120 something. Very disappointed. read more
